What exactly is "point farming?"

I see the term a lot, but i'm not entirely sure what it means. Any insight is much appreciated.

    It's pretty self explanatory. It means farming bloodpoints.

    Its boring game where survi and killer work together to max the quantity of BP per match - u know hook twice, smash them, let them heal, do gen and then escape. Obviously its waste of time, cuz it takes too long to fillup all categories. U can easily finish two normal game instead
