Event objectives.

For the next event (or at least moving forward) I'd like to see something different from "complete special gen/hook". I would like some sort of challenge like "earn 1 token per match per empty perk slot or find the special hidden items around the map." Perhaps complete matches using a specific unused perk/perks, just something new to spice things up and limit the toxic behavior from both sides with the current event objectives.

Anyone else have fun ideas?

I agree. What we have had so far is pretty neat but more would be good.

Maybe for the Winter Holiday event presents will spawn around the map at random times. When you open a present you get a item that reveals your location for X amount of seconds. The longer you hold this item without getting hooked the more tokens you get. Each present only lasts so long and gives these points to everyone, making it beneficial for your team to protect you.

For the killer maybe you are rewarded tokens for stealing these gifts. The gift is stolen when you hook the survivor or if you find the present box first and destroy it. Once destroyed another will spawn after a short delay.

This idea isn't really " balanced " out by any means but provides a possibility to add a fun mechanic to the event. Once you finish the event token goal maybe you still collect tokens and are rewarded extra BP for each. This would keep people who have completed the event interested in continued participation.
