Are we able to see what platform others are on? We can tell if we're playing with someone from another platform but I can't tell where they're from.

Hey! no, you can only see they're cross-play players. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/225-f-a-q-cross-play As you can read here, it won't specify from which platform they are.
