Why are we comparing PC and Console players so different from each other?
At the end of the day the core game is exactly the same.
The PC experience is objectively better but besides that we're still playing the same game. So I'm really not understanding the generalizations such as "PC Billy's are bad" or "console survivors are bad".
Or "x platform is a camper." Etc.

I am only going by what i see. full lobby of pc players? We win or tie.
Full lobby of "other platform" users? Survivors seem to go down in 5 seconds to an m1 killer, because they are too busy attempting to 360 and nothing seems to get done.

I mean from watching streamers the playstyles have never seemed that different, apart from console survivors relying more on 360s

Console survivors tend to try and 360 more because it drops other console killers framerate by a lot, and it's easier with controller actually.

I know. My main concern atm is versing pc players on certain maps (i.e. lerys) which has been kinda unplayable for a lot of us since the mid-chapter. You could probably 360 me on there while urban evading rn.

You guys have it rough optimization wise.

To say one platform has more of x or y type players has always seemed strange. We just have to look at posts from all platform players to see most complaints echo the same things.
The only things which hold any merit imo are concerns about the frame rate but to an extent this doesn't take into account that not all pc players have high end pc's to get high frame rates. Then there are the killers where using a mouse is advantageous like Huntress, Nurse. The latter though is just a mechanical advantage but it doesn't change how well one can play verses them.

Well, issue is that if your PC has similar hardware to a PS4/XBone, you will get 60 fps probably and a m/KB to boot.

I can share this experiecen. For some reason, console players think it is a good idea to 360 and then bump into objects all the time. Another trend i have wittnessed so far is the resurrection of Urban Evasion. 😣

Here's been my experience as a PS4 player with cross-play so far:
The game clearly runs most smoothly on PC. So PC players have a slight advantage in a way, though it hasn't been enough to matter to me. What has been super frustrating is that with cross-play on, it seems like console players will encounter more errors, at least when they're matched with people from other platforms. In my ~20 games yesterday, most of the games had a player DC. At first, I thought people were being bad sports. Then the game kicked me out during a game. I queued with friends, and every game thereafter at least one of us was DCd, which obviously makes the game much more difficult for everyone else.
As far as specific killers, I'll say that the Huntress is much scarier when cross-platform. On PS4, usually I can dodge and weave hatchets, but PC players seem to have more deadly accurate aim that I have little ability to dodge, likely the result of frame rate difference, but maybe not.
Some games where we had a killer on the game platform but a survivor who was cross-play. There were a few games where this resulted in the frame-rate dropping to slide-show levels. Some quick research seems to reveal this happens when someone is on the Switch. I could be wrong, but it seems this dramatically affects the game's performance on PS4.
So why not turn off cross-play in the menu? After waiting 25 minutes in queue with cross-play off, it feels like the only answer is to turn it on.
I think cross-play is an amazing idea, but yesterday was certainly my least favorite day of DBD in a long time.

360's are just easier on console as you can't just wave your aim like with a mouse. Autoaim does also screw with it a bit.
Give it about a month and they'll all do it less.

YES! We had a billy on a farm map and they were urban evading through the corn against a killer that clearly demonstrated they had bbq...
I can kind of understand the use of u.e after playing this on ps4 and xbox on gamepass. Base xbox is so low res abd extremely dark. Claudette is literally invisible in shadows on a base xbone.

I have no idea. The only difference I have noticed is shorter Que times, and less after game chatter.

I don't understand the argument myself. It's the same game, bar PC could have higher graphics or lower, but it still functions the same way that console have it. All I've seen so far is that console players are far more toxic than PC. Console players are doing nothing productive in matches. PC killers are sweaty tryhards. It just seems this whole cross-play release has been an excuse to blame each other for whos worse, when in reality, you don't know if that survivor who just screwed you was a PC player. Could be a Switch player. Everyone has the same icon but people on console just seem to want to blame PC instantly. I really hope people can just learn to get along for once and enjoy the game together.
