MED KIT PROMPT ERROR

I have played several games today 8/14/19 where I bring in a medkit, but am unable to use it because the prompt does not pop up.
Sometimes after waiting an unusually long time it eventually pops up.
I am playing on PS4 and have been playing as Claudette.
