Survivors Are The Worst

But not because they're toxic or poor sports.

As someone from Rank 1. I've come to the conclusion that in terms of the game mechanics. The Survivors are very poorly fleshed out and have almost nothing to do in this game compared to the Killer who always has something to do.

They have the choices between doing a mind numbingly boring Generator that requires little to no interaction on their behalf. Playing Nanny for injured or hooked survivors.

Or they can interact with the Killer and the only fun you can have with the Killer is to try bullying them or leading them on a long chase. While the other three are stuck Holding Mouse 1.

Hell, the only reason Generators wouldn't get done is because they're looking for something worth doing. Even if they don't know it.

I honestly think Survivors need more things to do. Otherwise they just want to bully the Killer because ######### it. What else are they going to do?

I second your opinion for more objectives I only have one question: do you have any ideas for new objectives for survivors?

The community has asked for searching for parts or generator fuel, but I'm curious as to what you would add to the game.

(I'm sure someone else has also thought of this)
I suggested an idea to add gas cans around the map. There are enough gas cans for each generator but you still only need 5 generators to power the gates. You can simply find 5 cans and do the gens or find more to open up options. Once the gates are powered you must find 1 of 2 fuses for the box. If you want to open both gates then you must find both fuses. This would provide the survivors with more objectives and make patrolling the map as a whole (not just gen patrolling) a viable way to find scavenging survivors.

This would also help slow the game down allowing Killers to not feel like Ruin is so necessary. And if Killers do still use Ruin then survivors will be scouting for it as they find gas cans.

@MegaWaffle I like those ideas... they fuses are a bit much, but being able to find gas cans to fill up the generator instead of just tinkering on it would be great. All and all, I'd like to see both parties beefed up a bit so there could be more interaction. Like, lets be able to combine that gas can with a lighter and be able to hit the killer.

I really liked this game, but its getting very repetitive now.

I've said in other posts, I think survivors should have more defined roles depending on who you're playing, and take away all the 'teach-able' perks.

I honestly wouldn't mind if a version of huntress Lullaby was baseline in the game. As more people get hooked the time between the skill check warning becomes shorter (but never goes away completely) This will reset each time someone dies meaning it might be more beneficial to keep people alive to 2 hook everyone.

We already had several discussion were we tried to get secondary objectives or changing how gen repairing works.

Unforunately a certain portion of the community wants to keep their current toxic playstyle, so its probably not gonna happen. Survivors like gens being braindead/easy tasks so that they can bully the killer instead of having to search parts for gens e.g.
