POSITIVE FEEDBACK REGARDING MMR AFTER CROSSPLAY AND RANK RESET!
Just wanted to chime in here and say that after Rank Reset and with the new Crossplay feature implementation, my matchmaking experience has improved 100%. Last two days, in virtually every single match, I've been paired with killers and survivors all within a rank or two difference of myself (Red Rank Survivor here, PS4). My overall gameplay experience has improved dramatically. I'm not sure if the new MMR system has finally ironed itself out, or if it has something to do with the Crossplay, but it seems great since the reset! Night and Day difference from a week or so ago. I surprisingly think it's pretty spot on right now. Also getting better survivors and more killer variety since Crossplay was implemented.
How is everyone elses' experience since the new Crossplay change?
UPDATE: Yup, more ######### rainbow matches. Still a bit better than before tho.

MMR be gone my guy, but I cant say the same lmao ive had nothing but brown rank while im at rank 1

They removed MMR because it wasn't working
The reason matchmaking is way better now is because there's a huge pool of players to pull from every rank.
Same reason why killer queues are instant and survivor queues are longer now; everyone on console plays survivor because killer with controller is awful.

Wow, really!? Why am I have this anomaly then? I was having rainbows before this latest update, same horrible experience everyone has reported. But for some reason I haven't had a single rainbow match since the update. So strange.

They temporarily disabled mmr it to fix the bugs. And my experience has been a mixed bag. Killer has been 10/10 good #########. As for survivor very hit and miss. Sometimes I get red ranks as I should and other times rank 14-16.

My survivor cue is the fastest it's ever been. At this very moment is the best matchmaking has ever been for me in my history of playing DBD (I came in right after the Curtain Call DLC.)

I said it in another post. Ever since they added crossplay my matchmaking is a lot better. Like the other person here said, I’m sure it’s because of the huge pool of players due to crossplay which gives a higher chance to get matched with players at the same rank or closer to your rank. That said, I think if MMR wasn’t disabled matchmaking would’ve been bad so it’s good that they disabled it.
