Lol this must be a joke. Anybody who uses this perk and actually gets use out of it is a potato.
Like in order to get this perk to work you have to be non altruistic so you can end up being the last one to even find the hatch.
And with so many other good perks out there like BT DS UB Adrenaline wglf we'll make it auto dik dik i mean the list goes on and on.
I mean this perk is about as useful as deja vu.

Also, I dont like that survivors can see the hatch after other survivors are dead. No, thats still too early. Show it after I close it.

The reason the hatch is in game is because its impossible to do a gen in a 1v1.
The hatch isnt their to help either side out. Its not a killer tool nor a survivor tool.
The killer isnt entitled to a free kill just because you killed everybody else, same for survivor your not entitled to a free escape just because your the last one left alive.
Its literally just a race to the hatch. 1st one gets it wins.
Edit : hatch spawn recipe is (survivors alive +1) so if theres 3 survivors left 4 gens need to be done, 2 survivors left 3 gens done ect.
If you really wanna sweat for the 4k then when theres 2 survivors left you slug 1 of them and then find the hatch. Then hook the survivor close to the hatch.
The game does favor the killer on the hatch animation so if the killer and survivor are both standing on the hatch at the same time, the killers animation to close the hatch will over rule the survivors animation to jump through it.
If your the killer and your running to the hatch and you see the last survivor standing on top of it dont run up to them and hit them. The slow down from you landing the attack will give the survivor enough time to hop through.
Instead you should just stand on top of the hatch and spam the button to close it. You will win 100% of the time and then its an easy down.
No its not good with anything. This perk is completely useless and in my opinion promotes a play style of leaving your team mates behind.
For example if you load into a game with this perk and then you happen to be one of the last 2 survivors in the game and theres one gen left and its been a sweaty match.
Chances that your going to make a play to save your team mate are significantly lower, to where lets say that you have BT instead and saving your team mate will maybe allow one of you guys to continue looping and gen the gen done and escape.
Maybe your team mate is a god tier survivor and still has all his meta perks ect
What im saying is you never know what can happen and in my opinion to let your team mate die just because your running this janky worthless selfish perk just so you can get some extra BPs for an escape is trash and the true definition of a potato.
Be a real player get good at looping and be a team player.
After you play DBD long enough you learn that escaping isnt always a win.
For the record this isnt directed at you just replying to your post with my opinion.

I feel like Left Behind should be 50% finding the hatch and 50% opening the exit gates during EGC. 😅

yes, survivor must open both gates to 50%.. if they dont spawn in the same corner. Then Left Behind can activate.

I never get to use it, so I can't agree with you. I either die before the final gen or I escape through the gates. Or I don't have it equipped as the last one alive.

Cant you see Left Behind is becoming overused? Survivors are pulling disgusting escapes every single game.

Personally, Left Behind promotes poor behavior with the hatch.
I'd say make the perk like a budget premonition for finding the hatch and give a 15%/20%/25% boost for opening the Exit Gates during the EGC. 😅

I played yesterday. Hag was killing 3rd survivor with devour hope and it was total silence. Suddenly sound of opened hatch nearby jumpscared me. I wish I had Left Behind to be prepared for this.

The whole chapter is broken and must be purged, I agree.
Do you know that hag has an add-on that can make you deafened for 6s? Even if she had it, you would still escape. Left Behind ruin the game.

Fine by me, I'm a cautious player and usually as far away from the killer as possible. This however usually means its me that gets targeted while the others are all fighting over the hook rescue.
