Balancing Legion without reworking his power is impossible

Before the rework, the Legion was actual able to down someone with his stabs, while he was in frenzy.
Those stabs were not so strong as the m1 basic attack (that can down someone with 2 hits), but you could potentially down someone with them, with 4 hits.
To be honest, that was a scenario, that almost had never happen in a real match and exist only on paper, or if the Legion had the pre-rework-knife addons equipped, because the old frenzy duration was so short that the Legion could only stab 2-3 times a survivor, until you have them then finish off with a basic m1 attack (that was basicly the pre-rework playstyle for every Legion that has not use exploits or the op addons).
So you see, without dw the Legion could potentially be viable again, because bhvr would have 1 less excuse why they didn't bring it back.
Thank you for your posting. I assume, you are right with it, but that was never something the players of the Legion wanted, or also the people that have play against the Legion.
As example, I had buy dbd and the Legion dlc, because I wanted to be the stabby guy, like you see it in one of the trailers of the Legion (that is might still up on YouTube or so).
Also many Legions I had know to this time, liked exactly this on the Legion.
Inclusive 1 survivor main I had know to this time personally and the guys in my endgame-chats mostly. I had in months playing the Legion like I have describe above, maybe a handful of toxic/ranting endgame chats.
The rest of the endgame chats were either silent, peacefull or happy and that I can even prove in parts.
That is something bhvr should think about and why they had nerf the Legion (I say nerf, because we can't do the same anymore as Legion - no matter how hard we try) with their rework.
Btw. here I make a @Peanits . Just so that he reads it maybe one day :).
Imo, they should have make another killer with the dw abilitie and let the Legion be the stabby ones.
The Legion of the past is so different to the Legion today, that they could be 2 total different killers for 2 chapters.
