Xbox players who opt out of crossplay. How are queue times?
Fellow xbox player here. Tbh the only reason I have crossplay is the massive benefit of queue times other than that i qouls rather not deal with othet things. Is it fine or is it slower since others are on crossplay. Something tells me it will take longer but I can't test it rn

It'll definitely take longer without crossplay. Maybe I'll turn it off tomorrow and get an average.
I'm loving the faster lobbies. I've only had one bad match thus far and they were other Xbox players so I can't even complain about crossplay outside of performance issues.

I get pretty much instant queue's as Killer and meh queue's as Survivor. So, maybe 30 seconds for Killer and 5 minutes for Survivor.

It says that and I think a lot of people want to believe that's the case but I haven't noticed an increase. In my experience on PS4 the queue times have been faster and the matches have been more stable. On several of the PS4 dedicated communities, the consensus seems to be to opt out of cross-play. And it certainly feels that way in the game because I have no problem finding fast matches.

Does opting out mean you'd only go against a killer who also opts out? I don't understand why a killer would opt out. Console survivors who wanna be able to 360 against killers, I get – but why killers?

Yes according to the official description, you would only be match-made with and against other people who have either opted-in or opted out. Maybe the killer prefers to have a way to communicate with the survivors, or frame rate or stability reasons.

Depends on the time, I've been switching on crossplay early hours of the morning since queues then become pretty long. I will say that when the killer is dodging your lobby it can take way longer to find another one, since they tend to get paired with you again and again. (As survivior)
As killer, seems tolerable regardless of the time from my experience!
