Huntress add-on reworks (full list)
Huntress's add-ons need a rework badly. Currently the only useful ones are Babushka/Braid, Loop/Belt, and Iridescent Heads. After that everything is absolutely worthless for her. Here is a list of reworked add-ons. Take note that while Babushka/Braid are increased back to what they were before, they no longer stack (which is more balanced than reducing their effect IMO) and they both have been moved up a rarity (to make them a tad more costly to use). Also note some other things have been moved around in rarity too. Let me know what you guys think, my goal was to find use for ALL her add-ons and eliminate overlapping effects.
Coarse Stone
Common
Hit target is prevented from doing fast vaults for 20 seconds.
Deerskin Gloves

Bandaged Haft
Common
Slightly decreases cool-down time between Hatchet throws. (Unchanged)
Shiny Pin
Uncommon
Moderately increases movement speed during wind-up. (Increase from 5% to 12%)
Oak Haft

Hit target suffers from the Blindness Status Effect until fully healed.
Manna Grass Braid
Rare
Moderately decreases Hatchet wind-up time. (Increased to 12%, no longer stacks)
Yew Seed Concoction
Rare
Hit target suffers from the Hindered Status Effect until fully healed.

Infantry Belt
Very Rare
Start with 2 extra Hatchets. Increases maximum carried Hatchet amount by 2. (Unchanged)
Glowing Concoction
Very Rare
Survivors within 8m of a thrown Hatchet will have their auras revealed for 3 seconds. Hit victims' auras are shown to you for 8 seconds.
Begrimed Head
Very Rare
Hit target suffers from the Broken Status Effect for 60 seconds. Moderately decreases the repair speed of Survivors injured by the Hatchet until fully healed.
Iridescent Head
Ultra Rare
Hatchets inflict dying upon the victim. Reduces maximum carried Hatchet amount by 4. (Unchanged)
Ivory Haft
Ultra Rare
Throw hatchets will stick to surfaces and can be reacquired to be added back into inventory. Stuck hatchets will despawn after 20 seconds or upon reload at a locker.

Iridescent Heads should go in my opinion.
They aren't fun to play with, they aren't fun to play against.
Survivors DC with them, and honestly when I play a huntress match and finish the game within 2 minutes it's just not enjoyable, the BP you earn with them is trash too.10 -

I don't see a problem with them, they aren't really that powerful at high ranks.

Huntress is fine she doesn't need ANY kind of a rework.

She doesn't need any changes to her base kit, but she does need more useful and varied add-ons to allow for a wider range of tactics.

It couldn't possibly be that I'm good at throwing hatchets, lol.
I also don't run the add-on any more either because I just think it ruins the fun of the game.3 -

The only huntress buff I would entertain is increasing her base speed to 115% like most killers she doesn't need to be slower. Other than that no because her addons and stuff are already strong especially the speed hatchet throws, hindered and insta hatchets (which are stupidly op imo). "Needing a rework" is such a big stretch to be honest I can't imagine many people agreeing with you on this one. This isn't a rework of the killer. It's a rework of her add-ons. You are right that those add-ons are strong, but the rest are utterly worthless. Inflicting a status effect for 30 seconds is weak. Every killer's add-ons should be of some value to use, and right now at least half of her add-ons have no value.

If you read what I actually wrote before just posting an unasked-for-opinion about pink hatchets you'd see that I'm suggesting a change for the stuff that doesn't ever get used. Add-ons should allow you to alter your powers enough so you can use different tactics. The only current viable tactic for Huntress is to throw faster.

"Let me know what you guys think"
and i think the iridescent heads should go or be changed.
Iridescent heads are so easy to use, walk behind survivor, throw.
If they're so easy do dodge lets make them worth while to use instead of making them unfun to play with or against.1 -

Well, killers enjoy playing him so no, not really.
and comparing me saying iridescent heads aren't fun to use or play against and should be changed to removing an entire killer is the most childish response I've ever seen. Grow up.5 -

Devs said they're getting rid of instant things anyway so it's only time until they get changed - it shouldn't be that easy to down when you already have range attacks on your side.
Oh yea - I'm absolutely sure people LOVE playing with hatchets that insta downs but it completely prevents half of the match even taking place.

Coarse Stone
Common
Hit target is prevented from doing fast vaults for 20 seconds.20 seconds is a long time for a Common add-on. I would either have it at a higher rarity rarity, or have multiple add-ons with differing rarities (and times). I would probably say no more than 3-5 seconds for a Common add-on. This would be too much of a game changer when seconds matter for everything. This would allow the Huntress to deny vaults like the Doctor can when he hits them with Carter's Spark, which is a neat concept.
Berus Toxin
Common
Hit target suffers from distorted vision and sound for 8 seconds. (Similar effect to Clown's bottles)Again, a bit long for Common, but closer. Perhaps 3-5 seconds again for Common.
Pungent Fiale
Rare
Allows you to see the trajectory of a Hatchet throw during wind-up. (ie. Gives you a crosshair)I think a cross hair should be in her base kit.
Glowing Concoction
Very Rare
Survivors within 8m of a thrown Hatchet will have their auras revealed for 3 seconds. Hit victims' auras are shown to you for 8 seconds. Not sure about this one. Might be a bit much for 1 add-on. I think the other killers' proximity-based aura-reading add-ons aren't time based, you just need to be in within range to see them.
Hit victim's auras revealed for 8 seconds is a bit high, and ought be a separate add-on. I do like the idea, especially if the survivor is trying to break line of sight.
Begrimed Head
Very Rare
Hit target suffers from the Broken Status Effect for 60 seconds. Moderately decreases the repair speed of Survivors injured by the Hatchet until fully healed.I hope the Broken effect will be more utilized in more things, it is a very interesting mechanic.
Ivory Haft
Ultra Rare
Throw hatchets will stick to surfaces and can be reacquired to be added back into inventory. Stuck hatchets will despawn after 20 seconds or upon reload at a locker.Very interesting idea, but I'm not sure how practical it would be unless you lose the chase shortly after throwing a hatchet. There would not be much time to recollect hatchets (because there would need to be an animation for it) and expect to keep up the chase, unless the survivor is just that bad.
The other ones you suggested that I have not mentioned look fine.

My Huntress is fine at Lv.50 Prestige 1, I think to use her properly you have to get stronger perks (From Doctor, Hag, or Nurse for me) Then build a strategy around your perks. I use deerstalker, unrelenting, Hex: Ruin, and Overcharge in case the totem is found. I'm a rank 3 with these perks because I've got a common strategy for them.

Well 5 seconds is way too short. The idea is to help with loops, and 20 seconds is enough time to do that. It could probably be a tad shorter, like 15 seconds, but if it's really short then it's worthless because you want to hit them with a hatchet and discourage them from using vaults to loop you.
Berus Toxin
Common
Hit target suffers from distorted vision and sound for 8 seconds. (Similar effect to Clown's bottles)Again, a bit long for Common, but closer. Perhaps 3-5 seconds again for Common.
This is a good point, but you also need to remember it doesn't slow them down just mess with their vision/hearing. Like, if Clown hits you with a bottle part of what makes it strong is the slowdown, but then another part that makes it strong is that it's harder to know what's going on around you. This is the latter half of that. 3-5 seconds might be more reasonable but the point is to create moments where the survivor will screw up.
Pungent Fiale
Rare
Allows you to see the trajectory of a Hatchet throw during wind-up. (ie. Gives you a crosshair)I think a cross hair should be in her base kit.
I don't exactly agree. Part of what makes her fun is that throwing hatchets takes skill. The problem I have is that the learning curve is quite steep and the throws are very wonky. Like with Nurse's Plaid Flannel add-on, this would be something to help with the learning curve and teach you exactly how her hatchets work. I feel like a crosshair in her base kit would make her way too easy to use.
Glowing Concoction
Very Rare

The add-on currently does 5 seconds, which is too short IMO. It's also quite useless since if you hit them chances are you know where they are anyway. The main draw to this one is the first part, since Huntress is easy to stealth this makes it a bit harder. If she starts tossing hatchets at you, even if she doesn't hit, she would have an easier time tracking you. She could also, potentially, use it to scout out an area by just throwing it at a tree or something. Remember it's purple rarity, so it's meant to be a little strong. But the way it works currently, it's just a waste IMO.
Yes, I saw someone mention something similar with Billy/LF Begrimed Chains. And by making it inflict Broken it no longer overlaps with Rusty Heads (which are redundant because of this add-on). And since the repair penalty is dependent on being fully healed, you get a guaranteed 60 seconds of slowdown where currently it can be much much shorter (if they use insta-heals or gang up on heals for example).
Ivory Haft
Ultra Rare

Ok, maybe you don't understand, you would just touch the hatchet to collect it. If you ever used something like a throwing knife in COD or BF it's like that. It's meant to allow her to chase for extended periods without needing to reload. And since you generally throw a hatchet at a survivor ahead of you and follow them there is a high chance you would just be able to grab it as you chase. It's an alternative to reloading which is a big weakness. There's no animation, you just walk over close enough to the hatchet and it gets put back in your inventory.

newbies can't stand the doctor because they can't hit skill checks and they struggle to get out of snap out of it. I've seen that a lot in the mid ranks too. Doc is terrible match up for newbies and players who are generally bad at the game.
yea but, Vankruze, didn't you see - I said I don't think iridescent heads are fun on either side so clearly that means I want Doctor removed, right?

So saying that it should be removed because it's not fun to use or go up against is kind of a moot point because it's not fun for you but other people can argue with fun for them.0 -
@Aari_Piggy66 @Master @Vankruze This topic is about Huntress's add-ons. Please take it elsewhere.
@SenzuDuck If you feel it should be removed, okay, but every killer gets 2 pink add-ons. A hatchet that puts you into dying is a valid option because it's powerful enough to be placed at that rarity (changing it to a BT bleed-out or literally anything else will make it not even worth using at that rarity), and it has a huge drawback in only being able to carry 1 hatchet, forcing you to use a belt/loop for extra hatchets. With my suggested changes a few other add-ons become valid combo's with Iri Heads, but the short of it is that we don't want to remove stuff from the game, we want to add/fix stuff.

Some of her addons are fine. Other yes could use work. As a huntress main who has played her for many hours. OPs list of what is useful is wrong. The toxins and yew seeds are extreamly strong right now. Especially the exhaust addons with the new change to exhaust cooldown. Iri head and belt is still extremely strong. Babushka/braid are useless now that tinkerer got changed.
TLDR. 6 addons are good. Rest are ok or poop0 -
