If you submit a ticket, do you receive an email notification that there was a response?

i'm asking simply because i actually submit a ticket yesterday! and i was just wondering if there's any notification given if there's a response to the ticket or not (and if it shows the content in the response).

i know that the automated system emails you occasionally to let you know if a ticket has been closed, opened, or is being reviewed, but i'm just wondering!
