The counter to a Rank 1 PC Stridor Spirit
.... crouching Ace with Iron Will. They have no clue what to do because they rely so heavily on Stridor to down people. It's extremely satisfying to actually mindgame a Spirit as much as she gets to "mindgame" you

Why Ace specifically? Wouldn't someone like Claudette be better because she can hide more easily?
0 -
Not at all. Claudette is the hardest to see but Ace is the hardest to hear.

Ace is quiet, that said I never had problems finding hi. It's really only if you play on speakers that you won;t hear him.

Ace is softer than the rest of the survivors. He sounds like he has has built-in Iron Will 1, so if you throw on Iron Will 3, he'll practically cancel out Stridor.
0 -
he doesnt have built in iron will anymore they change it

If you're running Iron Will though doesn't that negate any sound comparison?
0 -
Oh, did they? When? I didn't notice. 😆

Iron Will

Stridor only works well against iron will otherwise it is confusing btw. So, better to not use IW against stridor.
0 -
Yeah you just gotta divine what the killer is playing. Pretty easy feat to be honest.
3 -
Not with stridor it don't
0 -
Yes it does. At Iron Will 3 all survivors are at 100% so it doesn't matter who you use.

You never know what killer you'll verse, so equiping a specific build/char is just stupid.
The only thing she needs is an indicator if she's phasing or not as there would be still a mindgame.
Everything else is just 1v1 mentality copy & paste. There are (potential) 3 other survs doing gens.
Fact is she might be the best killer we have right now. And no matter how often you force a nerf, there will be always a sort of "strongest killers". Now ask yourself which one would you like to have after that. Nurse again?

Diversion is actually a viable spirit counter in my opinion, since it leaves scratch marks. Most spirits rely on sound, but some scratch marks can definitely lead them away from you. The problem of course is activating diversion...

you hope she has bad headphones
fr tho, devs have changed things that have been determined to be "too oppressive" in the past yet are too afraid/unwilling to touch the anime killer some more.

You say that as if Iron will isn't a meta perk....I see it at least once or twice per game....
0 -
Oh I guess that's a good point, and in context makes more sense than my point.
This was my point but factoring in Stridor their sounds are a factor in hiding.

you know what is the fun thing about spirit? that the majority of the playerbase understands that she is a bullshit killer with no counter, and to dominate with her you only need some game knowledge and a good headset.
Why then do we allow her to be used? Yes, we ALLOW it, because it would be enough that when she's the killer the survivors instantly dc; if all the players that understand she's bullshit would do this, she would be unplayable unless the spirit player wants 1 proper match out of 10. Then why don't we do that? I'm seriously asking myself why, because i have absolute no idea what the answer could be. maybe long survivor lobby queues, or maybe the myth that "dcing is bad" even when the match is extremely unfair. I don't know. I'm just gonna leave this here so that maybe i can bring awareness on the subject.
Have a good one :D

Quentin is the hardest to look at.
He got what we call and OOF face.

The counter to Spirit, as with every killer, is to do gens. Maybe if people actually did this then the Devs would actually fix the design.

Quick gens / splitting up is a counter to any killer no matter what "OP" build he/she is using, yes.
Many people here want to 1v1 all Killers instead of beating them 4v1 as it is supposed.
Speaking about counters...
Make her believe she's doing wrong reads. Get in her head. Also, i'm not gonna say "don't get hit 4head", but like Oni, try to avoid the first hit on you AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. Which should be even easier as she walks only with 110%. If she phases while you're not injured, you can fake your scratchmarks way easier. But ofc you will go done at some point. Which is... just gameplay.
