Survivor losing 8/10 games
I have played this game for months now, off and on, trying to keep my patience to see if the game will get better. But still, I feel like killers have SO much advantage over survivors. Why don’t survivors have the i option to search a chest and find a weapon of some sort? Maybe find a few random knives stuck in a tree or a skeleton around the map that can be used to skill check jump off a killer. It seems to me that if you get hit and are being chased, there is ZERO chance of getting away, even when you gain that small distance, and break visual contact and maybe even walk away a few feet to stop your tracks, your character still moans and cries and leave a blood trail and the killer immediately knows where you are and now that distance is gone. Why does ghost face look at me for 2 seconds and that gives him the ability to 1 hit me?! How can leatherface chainsaw across the whole map knocking everyone down?! This game has so much potential but I just can’t seem to survive more than 2/10 games and my neighbors probably think I have Tourette’s. Why are the odds SO tilted in favor of the killer?! I can’t seem to keep this game downloaded because no matter what rank I go to, I’ve gone all the way up to rank 5, killers absolutely smoke everyone 8/10 games. By the way, here are the perks I run in case anyone has constructive criticism for me and doesn’t just want to make stupid comments about not practicing enough(I have a full time job and children to look after, my life no longer consists of video games more than 2-3 hours max per day). Borrowed time, Dance with me, Lythe, Windows of Opportunity, and I almost always bring in a medkit worth 2 heals. I would really like to see killers get less perks in general, maybe only 2. I have so many suggestions I believe I’ve left at least 4 or 5 on this rant, I hope someone has some helpful words because I can’t break any more controllers and headsets playing this game. Maybe I don’t have enough time to dedicate to play and I can’t do anything about it and I should just uninstall but I see such potential. Thanks

Let me guess, you never really played killer? If not, do it. If you know how the "enemy" works, you will get better at surviving.
Most stuff you write are just exagerrations. Don't forget you are playing 4vs1. The killer has to be stronger in a 1vs1 scenario. Play swf if you want easier games.
Your Perk Build is not the best, but still okayish. But you can switch Dance with Me and Windows for something more useful. In your case I would suggest Iron Will and Spine Chill.
And if you are raging, take a break. As someone who played Dota 2 a lot, let me tell you, once you are tilted, you should stop playing. Calm down, play some relaxing stuff or enjoy family time. Then go back and try again.

You're win condition is wrong. If you consider an escape as a win you are going to be disappointed. 8/10 seems about right as a solo player.
If you are in an SWF however, your win condition should be for your team to escape.

You should take a break. During that break just watch info videos no DbD. You need basic game knowledge.
At the end of the game you will get medals for each survivor category. The game expects you to do generators as well as chases for example. You can't just do generators, you need to learn how to loop to.
Here's a streamer doing a 15 escape streak. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/711281877
So... solo survivor its possible. You just need to .. GIT GUD

Your problem seems to be that you're focussing too much on hiding/escaping from the killer. That isn't how you win. Hiding can sometimes be a good way to delay the killer temporarily or be important for time efficiency (ie. you're the closest person to the hook so ideally the killer doesn't chase you so other survivors dont have to waste as much time travelling, or the killer is checking the gen you were just on and you are now hiding, this is not a permanent solution but rather just making the killer waste a good 10-15 seconds before he even starts chasing where ideally you delay at least another at least 20 seconds per health state.)
But it seems like your focus is on escaping chases once the killer sees you. This should not be your goal, once the killer starts chasing you your goal should be to pallet loop for as long as possible to give your team as much time as possible to get generators done, you're going to be put on the hook (unless the killer decides you're not worth the time and drops you to go for someone else) but that's okay because you're taking one for the team.
As for your build, lithe is good, BT is good, but the other perks are bad. Try Decisive Strike and Unbreakable instead.

I'd go one step further, if you are solo, a pip is a win an escape is a big win.
Funnily enough, a lot of the time where I get a win before only 0-1 gen is left is when 1 survivor decides he doesnt wanna play anymore and just ends the game for his team. Either suiciding on hook, dcing or just straight up playing like a fool. Pro tip if you are on your last hook, dont go for saves. Dont play risky. Counter play his information perks as in get in lockers when he picks someone up to avoid BBQ, get off gens when someone gets downed to counter Thrilling tremors, etc. That kind of counter play. But at the same time you might have to get yourself killed to let the team escape.
Sure you are doing things a lot more slow but 1 more survivor alive, even if only doing 10% of the others is 1 more life line for the survivors. And a nightmare for the killer. Luckily for killers, most survivors wanna be the hero beyond what they really should. And most survivors wanna escape over the rest of the team. This leads to throwing the survivors win away, sometimes directly but mostly indirectly.
TL;Dr if you are a low ranking survivor sure, killers are in general a bit stronger, especially if you are a solo player. But the higher rank you get the more you realise that most of the time survivors lose the game for themselves. Especially if you play both roles.

Lots of helpful stuff so far, I definitely focus on escaping chases rather than looping, I will work on that more, not for lack of trying I definitely have tried looping I just always seem to get hit really quick especially sliding over a pallet or jumping through a window the killer just hits me right through obstacles. I have no idea when you guys say “SWF” what that is, so I’ll try and google what that means.

SWF means Survive With Friends.

Escaping really is on your team, if everyone plays efficiently at least 3 survivors will escape. Unfortunately this is not the case when playing solo, instead of focusing on escaping you should focus on doing as much as possible while you are alive, you can still pip and earn a decent amount of bloodpoints without escaping.

I'm a killer main and ill give you a tip in looping friend.
If you drop a pallet against a killer early there is nothing wrong with that. Use it to set yourself up to be the one controlling the chase. Watch how the killer reacts and choose accordingly. Example: You drop a pallet early in a loop/chase. Killer decides to break it. The moment they start the pallet kick high tail it to another pallet to reset yourself on your terms.
While running a pallet loop dont look back at the killer to often. Focus on hugging the terrain as tightly as possible without getting stuck. You will naturally see the killers location as you make the circles.
Be AWARE of bloodlust. If you've been looping for a decent amount of time drop the pallet after loop 3/4 if killer isn't mind gaming. Breaking the pallet resets their bloodlust timer and if they don't then your loop just became huge and they will struggle to catch you.
Don't hover on bad pallets. When I say bad pallets there are different types. unsafe, safe, and God pallets. Unsafe pallets are ones that have small terrain around them. The killer can get to either side quickly and if you attempt to slide over constantly you will get hit.
Last, learn when you should take a hit and spare a pallet. If the killer is on your butt. Thdy are within lunge range and see you going for a pallet, many high killers will wait to swing to get the hit + wasted pallet. If you feel the killer will assuredly hit you even if you throw the pallet down take the hit. Use your speed boost from the hit to move to a new location and set yourself up to loop. This spares your team a pallet and will frustrate the killer as they didnt get the wasted resource.
All in all it just takes some practice.

It takes time. Survivor while not in chase is mindless. Survivor in chase has a pretty big learning curve.
You have lithe, so focus on breaking away instead of looping. If you have dead hard, it's easier to extend your loops by using it for distance to get to a window or pallet, but lithe is used for just putting space between you and the killer.
If you aren't doing it already, learn to look behind you often see where the killer is, especially as you get to corners of jungle gyms/buildings/boxes, etc., and pay attention to which direction they turn, then go the opposite direction. Look behind you as you vault a window to see which way the killer turns while you're mid animation, then go the other way. If you're full health, don't just drop the first pallet you see - take the hit and use the speed boost to get to the next loop.
Since you're using lithe, pay attention to the obstacles around you - if you see a window that can give you the speed boost to get you a better loopable spot, just vault that window and run, don't waste the lithe trying to loop that window.
If you find yourself getting angry, just take a break and play something else. Being in a bad mindset while playing the game will only frustrate you more when you die. I used to get frustrated (I still do now, but over different things), but eventually I stopped caring about pipping and escaping and just looked at the game as practice for learning to loop. Sometimes, especially if I was in a swf, I would intentionally look for the killer to get that practice in.
If I go in fully expecting to NOT escape, it doesn't sting so much when I get outplayed and die.
Good luck and try to have fun. If it's not fun anymore, play something that is until you're ready to try again.

Surviving a match is only one small fraction of playing a good survivor. I also get a bit bummed when I get sacrificed really quick as the survivor or only eliminate one player as the killer. But the game isn't really about killing everyone as the killer or getting through those gates as the survivor. It's about getting in the way of your enemy and making their tasks harder. Looping and distracting the killer, healing teammates, and dismantling Hex Totems, will all help you earn more points and tier up.
There are often times when my team faces a lower tier killer and end up escaping without earning nearly as many points as I have when I was the first one sacrificed. The real win comes from getting as many blood points as you can and making the game more interesting/fun for the other four players.
TLDR: Bloodpoints guage victory moreso than "Escaped" or "Sacrificed."
