My issue with the current state of survivor (as a former survivor main)
So I've played the game since July 2018, and have over 2k hours in the game. Whilst I've always played both sides, for the majority of those two years I've been a survivor main. Until I slowly begun transitioning into a killer main in the last six months.
The reason I've reduced the amount of the time I play survivor, is due to feeling that in the past year playing survivor has been dumb down. Starting when old ruin was nerfed (although I love new ruin, it's one of my favourite perks to use as killer when paired with surveillance).
When I played survivor consistently, I was a very good survivor. Although I got to a point where I felt it didn't matter whether I was good or not, if I knew to split up and work on generators, I'll win. A potato can have the same result as me, if they also focus on doing generators when they are not being chased.
I know there has been a few survivor nerfs over the past months such as smaller maps, and infinities being removed (it was apart of my code of honour to avoid looping around infinities anyway).
I don't really know why, but I still feel the game has become too easy for bad/casual survivors (at the higher levels). For someone who was a good survivor, this made playing survivor less rewarding.
It might be that I'm just burnt out from playing survivor, but comment your thoughts.
