Visionary is pointless
We already have a perk for reading gen aura. Its called Dejavu. And it has no cool down what is the point of this perk?

Probably to make it easier to find gens for new survivor or in general on indoor maps? I don't see any other use.

But...maps and Dejavu do the same thing :/

Yeah but now you have your hands free for an additional medkit or whatever.
I don't know I just looked at the perk and laughed since it go a cooldown and is overall pointless XD
Just like the third new killer perk where everything stays the same through all 3 tier but the (again) cooldown.
Someone at bhvr really love their old wow cd's.

Well dejavu has no cool down and im sure even the most newest of survivors can see 3 big bright red gens.

Dejavu doesnt necessary show the 3 closest gens. I've had games where it showed me the 3 farthest gens and it was completely useless when I was in a chase and get hooked later on.

I can understand that but what if you're being chased even with visonary? It's gonna run out when you're being chased/hooked
And besides with it being DLC it mostly likely not gonna be eaiser to get compared to none DLC perks.

Clearly the meta is to run de ja vu and visionary at the same time for maximum coverage.
Dunno if the devs realised this, probably need to nerf both?

The problem I have with that first statement is that beginners most likely won't be able to unlock Felix without buying him with money.
If beginner perks get added, they should be available to beginners, no?
One of my friends has started playing the game only a few days ago, but he doesn't have access to perks like Windows of Opportunity or any other teachable that isn't exclusive to the character he picked.
Getting 9k shards takes a good while. By the time he gets there, he'll be much more experienced.
Other than that I can't really see any use for the perk unless you get easily lost (on indoor maps). If it showed the progress (in color) of the remaining géns, then it could be a good solo perk imo.

yeah

Thank you! ❤

It's Windows of Opportunity for gens. It's not meant for adept players (though it'll be helpful AF on indoor maps, those signs and flickering lights are so not good indicators), it's meant to help newer players learn the maps.

Agreed, the devs really need to make this game more beginner friendly. A lot of people I know won't pick up the game due to how complicated it can be and how lacklustre the tutorial is.
There needs to be a better tutorial, a training mode and beginner friendly perks that's not locked behind DLC as new players won't always buy DLC for a game that may be too complicated for them.

100% agreed.
