Are footsteps much louder and clearer in PTB?
I initially thought that blight's footsteps are louder but when I played as blight himself, every survivor's footsteps were much clear and loud enough. Is it true for the other killers as well? Anyone tried?

Yes, I think the audio is a bit messed up or refined. I'm not sure which one it is, but I vote for messed up, because the footsteps of the Killer are the most annoying thing I've seen (and heard) in this game since Legion Thanatophobia/Dying Light combo.

I have to agree. Hearing killer's footsteps seems unnecessary. However I love how well I can hear survivors'

Now now, don't take a side so quickly. Survivors hearing the footsteps of the Killer doesn't really do much, since there's terror radius, red stain and everything else, so if that gets removed, then the survivors' footsteps should be made quieter, too!

I found that audio in the PTB was overall much quieter for me. I don't recall really being able to hear Survivor footsteps very well.

Most other audio is quieter in PTB. Footstep audio seems to be unchanged. I guess that's why we hear the footsteps louder.

I don't even remember hearing footsteps that well. I remember multiple times trying to listen in on footsteps after being blinded at a pallet but struggling to identify which direction the Survivor went. And this was with my volume cranked up because everything was quieter.
