Scratch marks and Colour Blindness

I rarely play killer and played 3 games and yes... 12 escapes :(

My problem is scratch marks. I'm colour blind and as soon as a survivor runs away, if they are out of sight I lose them. This has cost me so much and am losing heart playing killer. I bought the game and all DLC and want to enjoy both sides but really getting me down.

Is this something the devs have thought of?

    I've seen some screencaps in the forums from other players that are colorblind, and they have their graphics on a different color setting. Not sure if that's an option for you, but it's worth looking into for the time being! No idea if the devs plan on doing anything for it graphically.

    People keep asking for accessibility options, especially for colorblind players. They really should do something so colorblind people are able to play without struggling.

    @Peanits Is the issue of scratch marks and Colour Blindness been thought of by the devs?

    Losing people because of it is really disheartening

    They thought about it.

    Conclusion was some people non colorblinded, will take gameplay advantage.

    They searching a method that is fair for everybody.

    Win 10 has colorblind options or you could use ReShare or Freestyle or even a combo of those together.

    They might do something, but who knows when that happens...

    If you're on PC, use filters. Otherwise, just pray the Devs actually start caring. Although it's been 4 years now.

    Thanks for your comments guys. I am both Xbox and PC (though 2000 hours Xbox 10 hours PC lol). But I may try your suggestions for PC.

    Alas I bought a game with all DLC but think I will be sticking to survivor. Every time I do try killer, it's just too frustrating losing people due to losing scratch marks. And I'm fact last game, and i think it's due to my colour blindness but I tried to find a downed survivor and even though I could hear them I could not see them on the ground. Kept searching for 30-60 seconds but then 2 gens popped so I just dc'd out of frustration.

    Got a message sent to me saying haha are you blind or something which really did not help

    The thing with filters is, they destroy the whole colorscheme of the game. While yes, you can see auras and scratch marks better, and depending on the map, even survivors, the whole game feels like a more bizzare dream world than freddys.

    You shift every instance of red into some other color space, and thus the whole picture gets distorted. The devs could just switch colors for gen and hook auras.

    I understand that visibility or impacted visibility is a big part of the gameplay, because without it, steath play would not be possible, so its hard to find a solution for blood and scratch marks
