I've recently tried to use Knock Out and my experience was horrendous. Instead of just blocking survivors' auras and applying (unnecessary imo) blackout on them, I got blacked out with them each time I downed them. It's not a "Knock Out", it's a "Let's Give Every Player in Lobby Some Headache". It's just a bug, right? Not a feature?

it is a bug that is reported several times in the „bug report“ section of these forums and those have the status „acknowledged“. So chances are the are already working on a fix.
