Loss of unlocked item
Can someone explain why I can loss the items that I have to buy in order to get to certain upgrades? That just seems stupid.

(I think I know what you're talking about, i'm on mobile so it might be different.)
So, I assume you mean in the bloodweb/store where you can buy things with BP.
You have to buy a certain number of items, or just certain items, to get to the next row, imo. When you move on to the next row it will lock the row before it, and will say something along the lines of "taken by the entity" so just make sure you're buying everything you want from each row before moving on to the next. that should solve your problem unless its something else. hope this helps.

My problem isn't the entity. I had to buy a med-kit, 3000 blood points, to get to a perk behind it. Then i lost it, even though it was something I used points on. That's my problem. I don't see a logical reason behind that decision.

Do you mean you lost it during a trial? Or when you prestige? I'm not sure what you mean by lost it...

Whatever they meant, it works as intended. If it wasn't that way then they'd just make perks super expensive "You can buy 5 common items for 15,000 points, OR a perk for the same ammount of points"

Last via trail.

Personally I'd rather have really expensive perks than waste points on something that'll disappear because I died.

True. Or something I won't ever use because they're add-ons for items I don't like (or offerings I don't care for)
But still.. after leveling up a few times, you should have plenty of everything so it hardly feels like a problem to me anymore. But in the early game, yeah it sucked to spend the few points I had on something that I'd lose because I died right away or something.

TBH:
the entire perk, item, offering etc system needs a massive overhaul... Anyone interested in a suggestion with badly done illustrations? cause I might have something

Oh yeah it definitely does. If not only for the fact we get 12 new perks on each side every year and it really adds up in the end if you want to max out a character.
And go ahead with the bad drawing :)

Share all you want. Bad illustration or not, maybe it'll get somewhere.

I'm confused... Did the item just not appear in your inventory, or did you die and lose it and just don't really understand the concept of in-game economy?

From my understanding, if you go through a trial, whether you escape or die, you lose the item you brought in.
(With the exception of any items recovered from chests during that trial.)

Behold, my art skills:
- We are splitting Offerings and Map Offerings into to separate offerings
- Charms now do something. Perks that don't 'do much' (e.g. increase aura radius etc) are turned into charms that can be attached separately.
(I made a mistake here and put Blessings instead of Hexes... This field would only appear for killers. Blessings only go on the lobby screen, see below)
Group Blessings: Blessings are the Survivor's equivalent to Hexes, and both are now separate from perks. These are things like fewer birds on a map, pallets taking longer to destroy etc. They can be picked in the lobby screen before, no blessing twice.
New Survivor stats: Each Survivor would have set stats influencing their healing/repair abilities (meaning their skillchecks are always a little bigger/smaller if they are good/bad at it without charms, perks or blessings) their speed (maybe) and things like that. Then stats about how many matches this survivor has been used in, how many they escaped etc. Also maybe a second page about how well they do against certain killers.
New Killer Stats: Regular Speed/TR stats, Matches played/won/average kills overview, power use overview (how well you do with their individual powers etc)
Items I'd honestly put in a whole new game mode where you can gather them, or in a bloodweb of its own.

I get how it works. If you die with an item you lose it and what not. My point is why would they make it so I have to buy that to get to the rest of my options? It's really annoying, in my opinion, to have to buy something just to lose it. If it was a worse version that was permanently keep or if it was on a separate purchase area, I'd be fine: however it was dead center of my web, blocking my perks.

I like this. The stats part would be really hard to add suddenly, because it would change everything quite a bit. People's favorites would become hard to use, while other survivors would become rarer due to lower statistics. But other than that, and a little touch up here and there, I think you've got some good ideas.

No you keep your item if you escape. Just not the add ons.

Because that's how their game's economy works. You earn BP, you spend it on (what are supposed to be minor and fair) advantages, and eventually earl perks. They haven't really changed it from when there were 30 perks. Is it outdated? Yes.

Fair enough.
