Freezing as killer when interacting with frozen survivors

This is on PC. The map was Autohaven (I think Wrecker's Yard) and I was playing Doctor with the Sleeveless Leather Trench Coat cosmetic. The survivor in question was Adam wearing default cosmetics.
Right after the game started, I found Adam on top of a hill. He was standing, frozen in place right in front of a closed chest, so I guess it happened when he tried to open it. I tried to M1 him, but instead the Doctor went for a grab. I guess the game thought he was searching the chest still. When I grabbed, Adam remained frozen and now I was frozen in the grab animation too. I tried button mashing but nothing worked, so I just disconnected.
So far it's only happened once, hopefully. I'll update if it happens again.
