Medusa killer

In line with the recent Greek Mythology cosmetics, a Medusa killer which players don’t want to directly look at would be interesting. Something like this:

Deadly Visage ability - Any survivor who has the Medusa in their field of vision is automatically Hindered until they stop looking at her. Additionally, while looking at Medusa a Deadly visage energy bar will build up around the survivor acquiring one token per second. The more tokens acquired the deadlier the effect

1 token - Survivor is Blind

2 tokens - Survivor is Oblivious and Also can’t see the red stain

3 tokens - Survivor’s vision blurs similar to Clown’s gas

4-6 tokens - Survivor is Exposed if healthy and Broken if injured

7-9 tokens - Survivor is automatically injured if healthy

10+ tokens - Survivor is immobile

When the survivor is not looking at the Medusa the charges will stay in place for 15 seconds before regressing at a rate of 1 token per 5 seconds. Looking again at Medusa will stop the regression and continue building charge.

The above is just a rough idea for the types of effects that could happen and their timing. Obviously it can be tweaked as desired for balance and fun.

P.S. A less complicated system would simply be that survivors are Hindred by 15% when they look at Medusa plus an additional 10% for every token they build up looking at her until they are immobile.
