Some synergies should just not be allowed
I just played a game and one dude had 3 perks that literary made him invisible for the whole game, i found him very rarely and when i did he could still hide somehow even when injured. Sounds are already bugged and this just makes it even more dumb.
Some synergies just should not be allowed.

What in the actual living hell is that build XD? He should of swap Inner Strength with Quick and Quiet and he would have been the perfect DBD ninja. What rank was he?

he was rank 5

This is an okay build at best my dude. He/she is most likely a solo survivor who will hide and do gens or play for the hatch when the other players bite the dust and he ends up with no hooks on him.
Personal opinion, he could've traded out calm spirit for spine chill and been much better at stealth. Allowing him to just walk away from a gen while you're still walking towards it. Seriously, calm spirit is only good against doc and situationally good against Oni, Hillbilly (oh wait he dead), and Leatherface because they tend to carry infectious fright.
This is the kind build we want to see, it has counterplay whilst also having the survivors play smarter rather than just hur dur decisive into dead hard into ring around the pallet now the gens are done.

I mean...its better than the "Usual DS,BT,DH" build isn't it?
Whats the point of crying out for variety if you're going to complain about someone trying something different?

i was playing the oni 😂

This x 1000
Why complain about someones build, especially since it isn't the usual boring meta? Let people play how they want.
14 -
well that depends, survivor with dh, ds usually are pretty cocky and can get outplayed cuz they think they are immortal but with this build game got boring pretty fast, they just lost the game 2 were left and dude with this build was doing gens, the other just hid for ever and i could not end the game

If you were playing Oni couldn't you have tracked him by the blood orbs that you could see through walls. Oni is actually the perfect counter to this build.

I had a team of three Blendettes running something similar to this and god damn is it boring to go against. That said, they weren't just hiding, they were doing gens right quick and say what you want, they kicked my ass because I couldn't find them to keep pressure. If you have good survivors on a team running stealth builds, it's actually really hard to play against unless you're Doctor, Oni or maybe Legion.
1 -
not really, his movement was very confusing and the blood orbs were all over the place

WHISPERS HAS ENTERED THE CHAT
2 -
Sucks for you get gud

I hate facing them why I don't use them.
1 -
if whispers told you exact location of the survivor then maybe, but since the area of whispers is so big you cannot precisely track anyone and they can simply avoid you

People are complaining about THIS? Jeez, people have evolved... and not in a good way.
Git gud
4 -
So people are mad when survivors are too bold and also mad when they try to be more stealthy........
yikes
5 -
Play wraith with the add-on that lets you see all auras within 12m when cloaked. Stealth and immersion is impossible. This is the one build where (as a killer) you WANT to get the yamaoka estate.
1 -
It's a stealth build. He could still go against a legion and get bonkered by killer instinct.
0 -
Gee, now why would an Oni player be the first one to ever complain about Calm Spirit, I wonder?
3 -
Killers are non-stop complaining about "second chance Perks" and then there is some guy who is clearly not running any of them, and still complaining?
I am also not a big fan of Stealth-Builds, but if someone likes to play like that. You can still track Blood tho.

I actually think BHVR should encourage more loadouts that synergize well. I'd even like them to give bloodpoint bonuses to try something different, just to get people to stop using the meta and make games more interesting. I wouldn't run the build you mentioned, but I would for conditional BP bonuses.

People on the forums:
"Survivors have too many second chance perks that synergise well with each other, and makes them almost invincible."
Also people on the forums:
"Survivors aren't running any second chance perks and are actually out-skilling me through stealth, and it makes them almost invincible. Nerf!"
Like, please, make up your mind.

He got 3 perks just to counter one your perk аnd you still complain. Any synergy has weakness - it is 2-3 perk slots just to make one aspect stronger. That means he got other aspects weaker. He got no exaution perk to escape chase. He got no aura revealing for information. He got nothing to help teammates. He got no any second chance perks. Just one selfish ninja. Once you find him, he screwed. Your problem is you didn't manage to find him.
2 -
if the perks make the game even more boring and unnecessary longer then full swf with second chances it isnt much of a improvement lmao
0 -
You got used to 5 min match as Oni with Infectious Fright and if game lasts longer than that - is boring?
4 -
I'd take 4 blendettes anyday than a 4 fully-stacked swf.
You got outplayed. That's just how it is.

A not very versatile build, never directly useful to the team. In some ways it's very risky.
There are currently 1,581,580 different builds possible for survivors, soon to be 1,837,620. And yet we still see pretty much the same thing...
And when the survivors use DS, BT, DH... it's problematic. When they use something else, including two rarely used perks, that's still a problem.
Sorry, survivors don't randomly use the less powerful perks available just to diversify and please the killers. Yes, everyone is looking to make useful builds: unfortunately, very few are.

Imagine complaining about someone who isn’t running small pp build or other meta perks
4 -
Nah, should've taken lithe+dance with me+quick and quiet+iron will/lightweight. He could literally drop any chase he enters.
1 -
im not compaining about calm spirit at all, i dont even have infectious on oni, the thing is if 2 last players keep avoiding you at all times and then make 0 sound for you to find you and the game lasts too long for no reasons its ######### boring like why do i have to explain that
survivors complain all the time about boring killers but when they hold the game by doing nothing but hiding with perks that literary make you inivisible is fine

ha ha ha I been playing around lately, to try and deal with the recent bs between mm and queue times and I wound up unlocking inner spirit and played around with the same sort of a build minus the lightfeet one or whatever I used lithe instead iirc. I got a doctor the next match, sometimes do the moment I swap calm back into a loadout which always satisfies me and makes me giggle.
1 -
Stealth is a legitimate strategy. The only meta perk i see is iron will. Good for him for being different
2 -
The Entity can whisper all it wants if a Blendette with these perks is squatting in a dark corner.

I had 4 Blendettes on Sanctum last night. Found and mori'd all of them. Thank you Whispers. Very long game but it can be done with enough vigilance.

I actually run a All Looping Build with David. Dance With Me, Quick and Quiet, Lithe and Adrenaline. It's quite hilarious how much it actually works. XD

Why u complaining dude be glad they pick this non meta perks whats the point of hiding if u have to do gens and run out trial this is so easy to play comparing to DS DH BT and unbreakable with insta medkits ^^

Man I love using invisible builds its pretty entertaining

It is not nessessary to have synergy build to hide successfuly.
I remember playing doctor 2 years ago. I killed 3 guys and couldn't find 4th for whole 30 minutes or even more. This is was before EGC and before doctor rework. This was before calm spirit could silence your scream. So I couldn't find Nea even with 40m static field. I started thinking that the game bugged and Nea found a way out of the border of the map. I could easily disconnect because there was no penalty. But I did find her. All this time Nea was hiding in basement. I was so mad, I checked all lockers on the map. I made a dozen of circles around border wall. I wish I had whispers but I didn't expect I would need it on doctor with Distressing. I wasn't bored, I was furious. I was as immersed as Nea. God how satisfied I was when I hooked her in a basement.
So if survivor decide to play like ass - he would play like ass with any perks. There is no reason to complain about some sorts of perk synergy.
1 -
Dude, stop complaining.
Like for real, all you people do is cry that all survivors run the same meta perks, then you run into the one person who doesn't and you still cry?

Ninja build with no fixated, for shame
