Borrowed time Mechanic. Suggestion.
The borrowed time Perk should instead become a mechanic for the game. As Survivors remain within the terror radius of the killer, while on a hook. Borrowed time should be a mechanic instead of a PERK. The longer the killer remains within the terror radius. The meter will fill and allow the survivor to have an unhook skill check. The struggle phase will pause. Upon completion of the skill check (if the survivor is successful). They will unhook themselves and a status effect is applied which allows for the survivor to take 2 additional hits before entering the dying state.
I understand killers may not like this. I'd have to agree that a good portion of map pressure abilities for killers has been removed. However, this game has to be appealing to everyone and not just a select group of people, in order to grow the community.
Please discuss, if you think this idea could use work! or have a comment below!

disagree. Entity progression speed should halve when other survivors are nearby, which encourages killers to push survivors away from the hook, commit to survivors running away from hooks, and not camp hooks, and it allows survivors more time to be stealthy when approaching an unhook. Entity progression should be slightly faster than it is now for hooked survivors not near any other survivors.
BT should still be a perk, but it should have its old bleed out timer effect returned (the one where you go down if you don't heal and the one that doesn't have such ugly saturation). This would make stupidly cocky saves less safe and prevent unhooked survivors from tanking hits (one of the most absurd things currently in the game imo).
Rather than more self unhook opportunities, more tools should be given to survivors to escape killers while they are being chased. Getting downed should be much more of an "I'm going to die, now!" feeling than an "All in due time," feeling.
