FIX THE HILL
When is the hill fix coming? This bug has ruined countless games for me as survivor and killer now.

Alternatively, and since you're aware of the bug, isn't it sort of... you know, your own fault? For ruining "countless games" because you wandered too close to the hill corner? I mean it doesn't seem like an overly difficult thing to fix

While I personally have not had that happen to me, it's happened to plenty of friends that I have played with. It's ridiculous to think that such a major bug is still alive and well within this game. Well on second thought, not really. If the devs would put out hotfixes as often as they do new skins, DBD would be in Tip-Top shape!

Not necessarily. When you're playing killer and the 2 people you have on hook let go of their struggle phase because the other two survivors got themselves stuck... yeah... that game got ruined by the bug but it wasn't my fault.
But yeah, they need to fix the hill.

Had it happen several times...been able to get out of it on my own a few times. There's an odd angle to try to wiggle back out of that works. Back toward the ramp up the hill, then away from the hill.

+ 1 can also confirm this is how i got out.
played against a smooth brain facecamping hag and was literally stuck there for an eternity as none of my team could spare the time to try and get her to move away, and do at least one get at a time.
one of them tried to come over when they were hurt and have me heal them to try and reposition myself but that didn't work either, and didn't even respond to prompt after mashing it on them.

Saw one survivor stuck so I tried to push him and see if that would pop him out - we both ended up stuck.
So beware that glitch can suck in more than one survivor.

this need to be fixed asap because it mess up a lot people game no matter who what they main.

They announced a fix coming in the next patch, which is the DLC patch, so we have a couple weeks yet to go.

It should have been a hotfix put out as soon as they had it ready. I had four matches in a row tonight where survivors got stuck in that hill. Had about three last night. And some the nights before.
To be honest, I'm already sick and damned tired of getting them out, letting them go, and losing pressure time on it. It's getting to the point where they're just going to stay stuck and EGC can eat them in the end.
I won't lie. The last one tonight I just left there. Said: Nope, I'm done with it. It's on BHVR now.

I try that getting them out I got stuck I feel I want nothing to do with it.

I got stuck tonight helping a Jane on my Oni. Two more gens had popped for a total of four gens in all before I managed to get myself free as killer.
I had to down the Jane and pick her up. Soon as I did, I was freed. Ironically, I was trying not to down her before that point. You know: being nice.
Only time it happened, but that was once too many for me.

I like to be nice but last time I got stuck when I got the survivor unstuck the flash blinded me and I DCed wasn't fun survivors are not nice.

Oh . . . wow. That's some kind'a BS. You help them and then they blind you?
Oh, I would have tunneled and facecamped that crap so hard. I would have thrown the match to make sure they got few BP and no pips.
Mine have all been nice afterward, but I'm just sick and tired of doing it, and also don't feel like risking getting stuck myself again.

Well, at this point, as far as I'm concerned, it's on BHVR to release the fix. I'm done playing lifeguard for that hill.

same not fun for either side to get stuck but I'm not going to help with me getting stuck.

No joke. My altruism has bitten me in the end. I found a way to unstick a survivor but it in turn traded me to become hill trapped. But twice in a day I'm stuck and forced to DC. Because twice killers left me alone to stay stuck. First time I was like ok. Aw well shrug it off but now the penalty stacked and I have to wait it out. All because I helped 2 others in 2 separate games unstuck.
Morally, the devs just need to stop everything else and fix this issue above all else.

According to a post reply, they have the fix. They're just waiting for the next patch, which is the DLC in a couple of weeks, to send it live.

Funny, if this was a glitch that impeded killers in any way there would be constant daily threads saying how the devs favour survivors so much & don’t care for killer bugs 🤷🏻♂️

Im killing every survivor who get stuck in that rock now a survivor put then self near the rock so that when I lunged I get stuck I DC after I got stuck and all survivors are going to die now for it.

The hill is an S tier killer, who would have thought?
I had a match earlier, one survivor down, I hooked another survivor and I was looking around for the others and could not find them for the life of me until I passed by the hill and they were frantically spinning in it. I could have thrown all of them on hooks but instead I released them from the hill and let them heal/get their Meg off a hook. That hill is a more brutal killer than I am.

I just spun around with the crow that was above my head and popped out eventually. I thought I was going to be trapped there forever.

It's being fixed.
Found a Claudette stuck earlier while playing killer. I got her out of it, and we farmed a little after. Had a pretty good three-gen going, but it wasn't really fair when she got stuck like she did.

It can easily ruin the game (no blood points, no fun) for 5 players.

A fix for this is being worked on and will be released in the next patch - I don't have a date for that I'm afraid.
