Change adept requirements as killer

Get a "merciless victory" in rank 1 as a killer is a pain in the back, especially because some killers' perks are so useless and get 12 hooks is not that easy when 2-3 gens pop once you hook someone. seriously devs, what were u thinking when you created these achievements? didn't you think about the red rank players?

Agree. Must be changed when reaching 4k

When they created the achievements, the requirements for a merciless were different. They had to adapt the emblem system (rightfully so) but they can’t change the achievements/trophy’s because of Sony/Microsoft. As long as it is at least somehow possible to get it..

Derank and burn a Hawkins map. I was able to get all of my adepts easily on that map.

It's not worth trying to get killer adepts in red ranks. It's just way too tedious and rage inducing since you will be playing SWF constantly who stack DS

It's meant to be an achievement, lol. It's fine if it's hard! Some of them are definitely harder than others because of the emblem system, but you'll get it eventually, even if it's just because you get matched with a weaker team.

Edit: You also don't need 12 hooks. You're probably good with 9.

It really should be get 4kills with their 3 perks, thats what it use to be. not like they couldnt allow you to use a 4th perk of your choice. it is poorly done as at rank 1 you need good gen defense, alot of chases and 9 hooks. saying you need to de-rank etc. to do it just proves the issue, survivor on the other hand is much easier as all you need to do is escape and they aim for 2 people to escape on average...

Yeah it should just be “Get 4K while only using the killers 3 perks.”

Devs said that is very difficult to change the killer adepts and trophies.

    Not a priority for them.

I would change killer so that it would require a 4K and a certain amount of points from emblems to make it more consistent through all of the ranks but making that threshold easier to attain than merciless at red ranks.

For survivor, it's already quite easy to get the adept, so I would raise the same standard of escaping and attaining a minimum amount of points from emblems so that blendettes who did nothing the entire game cannot easily gain that achievement. But achievements are not that big of a deal, unless you are an achievement hunter. If you're currently trying to get an adept, good luck bro.

I would say it should be changed where you get a 4k, because thats a merciless in my eyes. And I agree some of the killer perks are god awfully useless, for example pyramid head's perks aren't that great, or deathslingers perks, only one of them I would ever use, his power alone is not enough to suffice and his only gen pressure perk forces you tunnel the obsession and is only useful when someone is working on gen. Now there are some killer perks that are extremly decent and not that hard to get an adept, Clown is and example of this, if you are good at him, or Bubba. For Clown he literally has one of the best gen defence perk so far in the game, pop, and bamboozle is decent if used correctly. Bubba now that hes reworked is a very decent killer now. and his perks are very good. but thats not for every killer, I only have Clown, GF, Pig, executioner, so gl man

Used to be you could just throw an ebony mori on. I don't really bother with the adepts anymore. Most of the killers perks just don't appeal to me, or don't give the breathing needed for a 2 pip game in low ranks.

It should just be sacrifice 4 survivors on one game. Might encourage some scummy play. But it'll bring the difficulty of them closer in line with the, quite frankly, stupidly easy survivor ones.

They could. But just making every 4K a merciless is not the way.

I've been trying to get "from the void she kills", this is harder than adepts.....

I really have no issues with them, except the killers that I don't use as often.

You can, actually. Here's how Devout works:

    • 0 points: starting value
    • 2 points: awarded for each Sacrifice
    • 2 points: awarded for each Kill
    • 0 points: for each bleed-out death
    • 2 points: awarded for each Disconnect
    • 1 point: awarded for having hooked all Survivors at least once
    • 1 point: a bonus awarded after having hooked all Survivors a combined total of 9 times

You need 10 points for iridescent. You get 2 points/sacrifice * 4 sacrifices = 8. Then you get 1 point for hooking everyone at least once and 1 point for getting at least 9 hooks. That'll get you your iridescent emblem.

It used to work that way until 2.6.0 but then the devs changed it around 2.6.0 to require a double pip. It was a 4k even if you didn't get a double pip with the Emblem system (meaning there was a time where you could get an Adept with a ruthless). The devs don't seem to understand the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" (the Surveillance "bug fix" in the latest patch continues to prove that they don't).
