So, Chapter 17 is NOT licenced, right?
I mean. Ppl said it would be licenced, but The Alchimist is an original DBD lore character. So, we will be able to buy him and the survivor with shards, right?

We were wrong about it being licensed. You can get Felix and the Blight (he's not the Alchemist anymore) using Iridescent Shards, which honestly would be the better option for this Chapter unless they drastically buff Blight or you really want Felix's yellow suit jacket.

Yeah, the same source that said it was likely licensed is now saying it will be purchasable with shards.
thing is, in the files it was indicated it was auric only which has always turned out to be true in the past. This time? Shards option was added later so naturally people assumed it was licensed.
same thing with chapter 18 btw, so we now have no clue if that is going to be licensed or original.

Tks u all ppl.
I hadnt thought about that until he says it. When he becomes a monster/killer injecting those things of the Halloween Event in himself, he leaves his old personality behind. Makes sense.

No?? He's The Alchemist. Michael Myers says The Shape, Pyramid Head says The Executioner.

funny how you point out two licensed all were someone before they became the killer they name he known as the the blight.

He's very clearly not called the Alchemist, but rather the Blight.

It's the Alchemist.

I'm not saying he isn't the Alchemist from the Hallowed Blight events and The Hunger archive, because he is. But from here on out, he has become the Blight, and will be referred to as such.

Oh okay, I thought you meant that he wasn't the Alchemist from the lore haha

Hence, anyway if I say The Alchimist ppl will get The Blight and vice-versa. There is no point on pointing out that he is no more The Alchimist, cause he is.
The fact is that The Blight, despite being a DBD original, has a backhistory of itself as The Alchimist, as much as the licenced ones do. So, his "true" (nick)name is The Alchimist, but his killer nickname is The Blight. No problem to use both for the same person, cause they are the same living being, but now a monster.
Its like an "inside licenced" char.
