This kind of crap is getting beyond exhausting & I've been experiencing matches like this since around rank 13.

Does it even really count if I spent the whole time wishing that I hadn't? I'd rather wait and play someone that's actually my rank rather than a red rank SWF4 stack with all meta perks in every match. I cannot stress this enough, I have had to face sweaty red rank players every single match since rank 13.

Big mood. I used to be a rank 1 killer but I stopped playing for over a year and I thought maybe I'd be able to take some time to figure out how to play the game again before being thrown in with high rank players. But nah rank apparently means nothing.

My reccomendation as someone who plays killer is to wait for console players. This isn't always the case but they generally struggle more in chases because they use a controller. Not to mention they aren't as often SWF. Not a perfect fix but hopefully it'll helps. 😅

When there's a long wait time for survivors, i feel like matchmaking will sometimes just throw them in with whatever rank killer it can find. In the evening when wait times are longest for survs, this happens the most.

Yeah, probably true. I've been trying to learn Nurse lately too. It's kind of frustrating because I let my friend play on my account to try out some killers before she bought them (she wanted a new one and was having problems deciding which to put money on) and she got all yellow/green rank survivors on -my- account and then I jumped back in and it was back to red ranks every match. Like, the hell?

Yeah, you're probably right. It unfortunately, kind of straight up kills the game to be constantly placed against people who are like 10 ranks above you on either side. I was playing a match earlier and I literally just stopped walking and tabbed to a different screen like, nevermind.

I had to do that twice tonight, sadly. Get to the screen at the end, and four red-ranks every damned time. I am Rank 13 (was 12). And it happened at Rank 13.
For me, this seems to begin happening every night between 10pm and 11pm, east coast U.S. time zone. Moving forward, I'm just going to jump onto Overwatch on gaming nights at 10pm if I am playing a video game beyond that time. I don't care about rank, but the matches just aren't close to being fun. They're way above my weight class in skill.

I haven't been getting many red rank survivors lately as a red rank killer.

Been playing with friends who are between rank 8-13 and I'm rank 5 and a majority of our games have been rank 2-3 killers with near perfect builds and an occasional grey rank. Needless to say it has not been a good time.

Yep. I've been getting that since January and rank 13. I'm up to rank 3 now, but holy crap has it been an uphill battle. Only good thing is they turned me into a beast of killer.

match making starts out at +/-6 of the average of the ranks. as either killer OR survivors the game starts to widen this. so either you had a longer than normal wait time or they did and it opened things up.

I find it easier and more fluent to play on controller, but that's my opinion, plus I was raised as a console player so....

The problem with this broken matchmaking is that non red rank killers are getting red rank survivors.
That's the real problem.
Only red rank killers should get red rank survivors.

Yep, and naturally he followed me everywhere and got in my way every time I downed anyone and teagbagged at every pallet & whenever I missed because of his Dead Hard, lol.

Yeah, I've been pulling mostly to all Red Ranks for the last few days. I'm mediocre at best. I learn what I can but when the gap is that big it is hard. On top of that I doubt I provide them much fun.
