Are they working on a fix for PlayStation overheating whilst playing the game?

Downloaded DBD about a week ago, whilst I had time off work and after grinding for about a week, every time I load up it says “PlayStation to hot” and shuts itself off. Works fine on other games and I’ve also took PS4 apart and cleaned fan etc, Just wondering if they’re working on a fix and is it going to be recent or have I just wasted my week or work playing this game & £15?

    The devs are working on the optimization of the game. Not sure how long it will take for them to release a patch but know they are working on it.

    That makes a lot of sense. I've been getting consistent lag. Wonder if it's an issue for the whole platform because it can't register certain graphics, tiles, etc. Other games work fine just like you said

    problem went away for about a day or two but seems like it’s back now. Was fun while it lasted 🤣 hope it don’t break my new console (ps5) when I get that.
