Slight change to the hatch close mechanic
This is for anyone and everyone that's either been trying to get the left behind trophy you know the one do last gen alone and escape out the gate or are just tired of bad teammates and then being noed after the killer closes it
The change is losing the hatch does not trigger the egc meaning survivors going for it can try to get the trophy without worrying about a instant noed or a door camper and allows some with a bad team to at least try to have a noed counterplay

Nothing you do would matter if closing hatch doesn't trigger EGC. The problem of holding the game hostage still will remain which was the reason it was introduced in the first place.

Erm how is it hostage taking when it's closed and the only escape is the gens or your gonna die

The final survivor would rather hide in a corner than work on gens. Especially if it's an immersed blendette in her natural habitat.

Ok yer lol that I can see as a issue hrmmmm maby the last survivor the crows appear faster if there not on gens or a totem and will only be removed if your doing one of the 2 or in a chase or if using SC they slowly gain birds so they cannot try to hostage take with that

Honestly a decent change they could do that will solve some of these problems would be if you were the last to complete a generator before Hatch was closed it will count as completing for the last generator so if you managed to leave through an exit Gate you get your achievement.

Now that would be a great change only downside is killers love noed so your still screwed trying to escape or at least they could let you finish a gen your on of you let go then your off it no trophy if ya fix it then the timer can start

People who are hiding can avoid triggering crows by stealthily moving to another area. It can be difficult finding one of two Survivors who are trying to hide forever. Finding the last person who is hiding forever would be a nightmare.

That's why only gens and totems can turn off the crows no sneaking being stealthy if your Tring to waste time deliberately then boom your found and killed though to even it out they could set it down to 1 gen out of all the remaining ones giving the survivor the chance to get the trophy and look for noed unless the killer decides to let you out a gate

Yeah, I think a big cause of the whole "stay hidden forever" thing is that the AFK crow system in this game is inadequate at stopping Survivors from stalling out the game intentionally.

Yer they need a new mechanic for not hiding and screwing the game up before adjusting the close hatch mechanic

Pre EGC survivors could just hide and keep the game hostage until the killer DCed, we do NOT need to bring that back

I realized that hence why I've been having a back and fourth about possible alternatives to both things and came to the conclusion until a better no hostage taking of the game can be figured out the best alternative is to let the last survivor stay on there gen if they fix it or are forced off the GEC starts

I mean, who would be fixing a gen instead if finding a gate? thats asking for a killer to find you

That's why it triggers if done or forced off the gen by any reason aka if there's loads of gens you have a chance for it and don't get do punished by bad teammates
