Anyone else been seeing this perk build frequently?
In 9 out of 10 games I see killers running the same 4 hex perks. Ruin, Lullaby, Retribution and Haunted Grounds (on rare occasion Lullaby is swapped for Devour Hope). It's not that the build isn't easy to counter, it's just the shear annoyance of it for me. Gens are harder to hit great skill checks because of the lullaby, then when the killer patrols, you lose all progress because of ruin. Finally find the hex totem, except you didn't, it was Haunted and because of Retribution now everyone's immediate location is revealed. Obviously you can just break the Hex totems but it gets stale when all your games you are forced to play hide and seek with totems before being able to get to your main objective. I think that is the most annoying part about it, it causes lack of variety in games.

When someone uses an all hex build, that's the most spiciest match I'll ever have. I'm bored going against meta killers with meta perks. A change up would be much enjoyable.

It was fun at first, but now I see it pretty much every build like it's become the new meta or something

I’ll be honest i get why you’re complaining about it but at the end of the day as long as it helps to slow the game down i find that builds like that are very helpful for killers we’ve all just gotta use the tools at our disposal y’know

I ran a quad hex trapper build the other day, the matches were either snowballed to hell or my totems got found in two minutes (should have dodged when I saw the girl with a map probably). I ran Ruin, Retribution, Devour, and Thrill, along with trapping totems with iri stone, it didn't always pay off but when it did...oh boy.

I don't see it that frequently to be honest. It's quite fun to run all hex build and also to vs him. The results are definitely unpredictable. 👌

I think they're testing it out for when Undying releases. I'm not even bothering with a post-Blight Hex build. We'll just see maps brought every match anyway.

It's a high-risk/ high-reward play by the Killer. The hexes will have to be hit, but the quicker they're dealt with (and earlier on), then the Killer will have a far more difficult time later on.
