Hitting a hooked survivor in Feral Frenzy

Yesterday on DbD Mobile, I experienced a Legion in Feral Frenzy hitting a hooked survivor. I was just curious if this is supposed to end the power or not, as it had no effect in that match.

It doesnt end the power you can just stab them until your power runs out.
