The Lycanthrope - (Werewolf Killer, lore, perks, and add ons)
The Lycanthrope
A beast like killer. Able to track its prey and mercilessly hunt them down. With the Lycanthrope's 3 teachable perks: Blood scent, Hex: Carnivorous Beast, and Lycanthropy allows him to easily track down his prey and end chases quickly.
Base stats:
Tall,
117% base movement speed
36 meter terror radius
<Power>
<Heightened Senses>
The Lycanthrope can use it's incredible sense of smell to locate nearby survivors and see where they have been. By holding down his power, you revile a scent trail left by a survivor.
It appears as a floating flowing trail.
When searching for a scent, the Lycanthrope is slowed down to 95% movement speed. The scent can be seen within 16 meters of the trail. Survivors always give off a scent trail but can only be seen when using this power. Using his powerful sense of smell quickly drains the power gauge.
Survivors give off a stronger scent if they are injured or if they were previously running.
Survivors that walk or crouch give off less of a smell.
<Quadrupedalism>
The Lycanthrope's second power allows I'm to break into a sprint running on all 4 legs. He is much faster, and can cover a great distance in a short time.
It takes 2 seconds to get down on all 4 and begin running.
At full speed, he moves at 195.5% movement speed.
When Quadrupedalism is active, the Lycanthrope can pounce straight forward, injuring survivors, or breaking a pallet if he comes into contact with one. If he bumps into any object, he gets stunned for 2 seconds.
He can use this ability whenever, but only after a short charge up time.
(This movement ability functions more like the hillbilly's chainsaw sprint, but with a bit more control, and the movement speed of Oni's Demon dash. This power can only injure 1 health state of a survivor.
Playstyle:
The Lycanthrope can easily track down its prey with his powerful sense of smell. Able to locate his prey, even inside a chase. He can also use all four of his legs to quickly cover a small distance, and control the entire map.
<Appearance>
The Lycanthrope appears mid transformation. Man like with many beast qualities. When chasing a survivor, the beast like features take over.
When holding a survivor, the Lycanthrope appears more man like with the exception of his right arm, which still has his beast like claw which is his main weapon.
Back story:
"I dont remember much about my life before turning. I... I was an author. I scholar of some sort. I remember having a lot of books. I would read them late at night by the fireplace. I also remember being in love, but I cannot recall her name, nor her face. I can't even recall my own name. But that's not important. The one thing I can remember vividly, was the night I was attacked by the beast.
I was away from home. I believe I was out buying something. I know this because I remember my arms being full of useless mundane objects. I felt eyes watching me as I made my way back home. I would look around searching for a figure that never appeared. The feeling did not go away. I began to hurry home ina fast walk. I got inside my house quickly and shut the door. As I began to lock it, the beast broke through my flimsy wooden door, knocking me and by belongings to the floor. I frantically crawled backwards throwing whatever was in arms reach at the monster, but that only made it mad. It then punched onto me, biting into my side and tearing into my flesh. I frantically was looking for a weapon to fight back. I grabbed what I thought was one of the fireplace tools and gouged the beast in the eye. I rolled off me writhing in pain. I managed to stand up and make my way out of the house despite my injuries. The beast that attacked me was relentless. It followed me out of my house and began making it's way after me, though it was blinded in one eye, and blood covered the other. I dont remember what exactly I did, I just remember running. Running for my life.
I was deep in the forest by my town. I collapsed from the bite in my abdomen and the fire in my lungs. I lifted my torn shirt to reveal I black bloody mess. I removed my shirt and tried it around myself to attempt to stop the bleeding. The beast was nowhere to be seen, neither was the town I just ran from. I was entirely lost. I started going back the way I thought I came from, but after walking for what felt like hours I began to lose hope. I remember that I didnt get a change to eat supper that night. I was famished. I started to get light headed so I sat down. I felt something in my side where the beast bit me. I removed the bandages to asses my condition. The wound was no longer bleeding. It had grown a concerning amount of hair around where I was bitten. I provably was sitting there for an hour before passing out.
My hunger had gotten the best of me. I had awoken in a stranger's home. Blood was everywhere. On my face, the walls, and a large puddle on the wooden floor. There were two corpses on the floor. Both with several bites taken into them. The corpse on the left had his chest torn open, and the one on the right had her face and neck torn into. The face was entirely unrecognizable. Torn to pieces.
This vicious cycle went on for several days. I would wander the forest, making it my new home. Hunger would overwhelm me, then I would go into a hunger induced frenzy. Devouring the weak. Feasting on the people I once called my neighbors. I was disgusted with myself. I couldn't control myself. But I small part of me wanted to let the beast take over completely. That way, these feelings of guild and disgust would go away.
Later that night, I could feel the hunger again. The feeling of severe emptiness from within. I knew what was going to happen, so I began to run deeper into the forest in an attempt to not hurt anyone else. As the feeling grew, I stopped and hesitated. They were so good. They would end this suffering for a night. Perhaps if I ate one of the elderly? I debated with myself for several minutes. I only noticed that I was gnawing on my hairy arm when I started to taste my own blood. I then heard a voice.
It told me that I can have as much meat as I wanted, all the blood I wanted, I could hunt in peace. This voice covered my eyes in a thick black fog. I seen myself. Chasing down the save hand full of people, over and over again.
Perhaps this was hell for these people and im speaking with the devil. The blood starved beast inside of me agreed to this mysterious voice's offer. It shrouded me in its fog and grabbed me with these ominous spider like legs. It carried me away to a familiar, yet alien land. As if it where I was taken to was a replica of a real place. But that didn't bother me. I'm free now. I can satisfy my lust. I'll unleash my hellish punishment down onto these sinners. What kind of beast would I be not to listen to the devil? This is my home now."

I like the cocnept, interesting power the seems balanced. So he is technically oni, demo, blight mixed together. The playstyle does seem fun but I don't think you can make it 117% spped though but I understood what your were going for. Its appearance is something very cool where it shapes back and forth to mroe human like to beast like however It would be a nightmare to program for the devs. Now the story is decent, I liked that you went on a first person perspective, but feels a bit wierd and off, we don't tend to hear the killers thoughts. So maybe you could work on that but I just think I would like go over like who was he before all this and have it more in depth. now perks seem decent the hex seems a bit op but if it is only used on time then I guess it serves its purpose, I like Lycnathropcy it seems something I would glladly run it. Addons feel very good, and very decent, overall I like them. again this is a cool concept and I would love to see a werewolf in dbd but I want to wait for a little while. Well done and I hope to see more of your works, and I'll see you in the fog
