Hit validation messes up Huntress
Hello. I play on PC and I saw that hit validation messes up Huntress.
Hitting someone with a Hatchet if the Survivor is right in front of you will no afflict any damage, it will spew blood but the Survivor won't be damaged at all.
Happens every time when you try to hit a Survivor who is right in front of you. Survivors could abuse it, hug the Huntress and never get hit.

Can confirm, this is consistent and can be replicated 100% of the time

I haven't tested this but my guess is that they just used one simple way to detect the hits: If the survivor would receive damage, it will check if the Killer was too far or not, ignoring how he was damaged. Looks like they didnt coded it for Killers with ranged abilities to damage survivor.
Maybe this can happen with the Plague too?

I don't know. I had time for Huntress because I couldn't play to much. I'll probably test more this evening.

its affected all ranged killers..deathslinger..plaque..huntress.

Not really. I tested with Huntress and it really doesn't register hits if you try to land a hatchet on them while they're like 3 meter of you.
As for Plague, I tested he Corrupt Purge too and it worked normally in all distances.

Maybe for you but i have this issue with all ranged killer but with huntress i have that too much. With the others maybe unlucky or server issue or comes from my side.
