Dead Hard

Yeah that's right. This infamous perk that is way more controversial than anything beyond DBD? Yeah. It's fine.

It's another exhaustion perk. Just like balanced landing or sprint burst or Lithe. Just with a lil bit more freedom than them.

So you're already furiously slamming the E N T I L D S U R V and R keys. Nice. (I might have gotten that wrong. I'm sorry that was a bad joke)

So it's a perk to avoid hits in it's most simplified form. And most people associate it with DS, Unbreakable, 2 1/2 inches on a ruler, stuff like that. I believe it's fine.

Many argue that DH covers up mistakes that a survivor makes. But what if, hear me out, it counters Bloodlust? That infinite counter-mechanic usually used at relatively safe pallets for a free hit.

Don't get me wrong, way more ######### survivors use it than actual good ones but, this is what I feel punishes the killer for not breaking off simple.

I anticipate the hate comments. Kind of? Why did I make this thread...

DH can be super frustrating, but also very satisfying when they use it and you dont fall for it. Like a last pathetic gasp of life slipping away

Personally I see no issue with deadhard its exceedingly easy to counter as killer and its rare a survivor can pull it off correctly unless they are deadharding into a pallet (or much more rarely a window, thats hard to pull off!). Like its a mediocre perk all the killer has to do is chase you for an additional 1-2 seconds before swinging and then you cant deadhard out of their lunge. Most killers know this and unless theirs a pallet they just save their swing.
