Inner Strength - Why I love and hate it

I love the Inner Strength Perk in general. The entire way it plays is very entertaining.

The problem I see is, that I sometimes see myself rather run around the entire map searching for a totem, when I could have done a gen.

I also get angry at my teammates for doing totems, even though its good they cleanse totems, but I hate it because I lose a heal.

You should fix it so that the Perk does not stop you so much from doing Gens and not making it totem reliant so that your teammates can't sabotage your gameplay by being productive.

Maybe give 2 heals per totem, or give a cooldown or give another mechanic to earn that heal, just not that your teamamtes can deny it. It kind of sucks being sabotaged by people playing the game the way it should be played..

I hope you guys will find a better solution because I enjoy this perk soooo much!

The perk is fine. It gives you an unique reward for doing a secondary objective.

If you feel too opressed by the perk try diffrent healing options? (bond, medkits, selfcare)

Dislike it because it isn't affected by A Nurse's Calling due to the locker requirement.

You've hit on all of the reasons why I think this perk is really overrated. It has a limited number of uses throughout the match, it relies on luck and teammate behavior (e.g. Are you facing a Spirit that you think is running Haunted Grounds? Is your teammate using the perk too? Do your teammates do bones in general? Are you on a map like Backwater Swamp where the totems tend to be very well hidden?), and it wastes a lot of time for your team if you're not using it right. It'll be even riskier now with Hex: Undying in the mix.

I'd personally prefer to run a perk like Bond or Aftercare and have my teammates heal me, or just bring a medkit. Either that, or just run it in a SWF.
