2 games in a row Killer tried to get me to farm instead of hooking me.
I reported both times for griefing. If you got me fair and square, hook me so I can try again. Don't try and force me to farm with you. I'm not your personal pet.
If people want to farm that's fine. But when it's clear the other player doesn't want to, end the game like what is supposed to happen. It's so annoying to have to wait until the Killer is bored of wasting time.

You can't report a killer just because they're trying to farm. That's not griefing. Also how are they "trying to force you" when you can just finish the gens and move on to the next match?

If they're the last survivor and the killer refuses to kill them they can just escape via the hatch or the gate. How is that griefing?

Not what he described in his post though. Sounds like other players were ok and he was the party pooper but yes if he's last that would suck but on the flip side wouldn't be much left to farm at that point.

Because the killer could slug them repeatedly very far from the hatch and would refuse to let them fic the last gen unless they farmed

As long as he hasn’t prevented you from doing gens or opening doors, you have no reason to report him.
As you don’t want him dictating your play style, you you don’t have a right to tell Killers how to play.

Could be this, could be that, could be as other people have posted. Issue is, the OP makes a vague post about farming without providing any context or details for us to know how the killer was doing it.
So, not much to go on here and therefore very little to care about, it seems. I'll just chalk it up to other gaming forum whining post and move on, I suppose.

Look I'm a killer main but I play lots of survivor as well mostly to get better as a killer and I myself wouldn't want to farm all the time but if theres come streamers, cakes, etc, and everyone wants to why not take 100k of bloodpoints from DBD. Can't tell you how many time I get excited becuz I see 3 or more cakes or streamers only to get tunneled or gen-rushed.

Farming can turn into griefing if the other survivors help the killer by giving away your position, blocking you in a place allowing the killer you down/hook you and farming you off the hook until you die while the killer stands next to the hook not giving you a chance to play the game.
That's the kind of "farming" that's bannable as it's farming by working with the killer.
If a killer just innocently tries to get you to farm it's not bannable in any way as you can't force killers to "play seriously" since it would be impossible to determine whether someone played seriously or not.

Why would you consider a killer farming as Griefing? You're aware of what Griefing is right? If the killer refused to hook you, then do gens. If they left you on the floor, you die after 4 minutes. If they wouldn't let you leave via gate, the EGC kills you after 3 minutes. Even if you were the last survivor alive, you could wiggle free and go to hatch.

Knocking me down, picking me up. Not hooking me trying to make me wiggle. Dropping repeatedly, I point at hook and they down me again...Rinse and repeat. If the game it over it's over. I can't make myself die. I 'm not gonna keep doing gens cause you want me to. You caught me, so kill me. Let's all go to a match where we are actually competing again. I set the controller down when this continues and have come back 30 minutes still being carried around the map. I report everyone and encourage others to do the same thing. 😊

Ok, in that situation if the killer wasn't ending the match, nor were other survivors then it's understandable why you'd call it griefing, and I agree. The only other solution to that would be to DC the match, but, you shouldn't have to face a penalty because you can't end the match. It's kind of a messed up situation that even the other survivors let the match last that long.

Once again it's one side of the story. Maybe they wanted your cooperation for a challenge - but you decided to be a butt about it.
Not enough information to make a judgement, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to report killers for this despite your encouragement...ever.

This. I can't imagine reporting someone for griefing when they're trying to make sure everyone gets BP. Just finish the gens and leave if you don't like it.

Definitely been an increase in people trying to farm. I can understand how it gets annoying when you'd rather play a normal match, but I don't think a report is necessary. Just do the gens and leave

I dont understand this thread. Are you crying about a killer trying to be nice and stuff? Hell after playing red ranks (both sides) a nice farming killer is always welcomed. Infact i love piggies who lets me boop the snoot.
