PS4 group lobby ghost bug

I play on ps4, username Dabrownman1812.
When I create a lobby or join a friend's lobby in a non custom survivor match I constantly:
Disconnect from the lobby on their screen but it shows I'm in the lobby on my screen. They proceed to join a match without me.
Cannot see if they joined
My lobby doesn't exist to them
Constantly getting a message that their lobby doesn't exist.
Playing killer is fine.
The people I invite are on ps4 with crossplay enabled/disabled
It happens still with one person on pc.
This issue has been ongoing for me a little after the ingame friends list has been added.
