Question For Killers Mains

The big cornfield with a killer who has no mobility?

Depending on the killer some get salty over 360s. Really it's just exploiting the terrible hitboxes and lag to make the killer miss for the most part.
Personally, I only 1st hook mori if the person has shown they're really good at running and time-wasting, because I'd rather them be out than have them waste my time for a whole extra chase or two, or if they're teabagging and flashlight clicking, they're choosing to be annoying and cocky so I don't owe them niceties. That said I generally only bring a mori for dailies, or if I think someone deserves it, which more often than not is because they screwed me over when we were both survivors.

Understandable, I wanna play killer more so I know longer teabag or flashlight click, the only time I do is if the killer is farming or I will flashlight click to get the killers attention off someone they are tunneling. I'd say I am a 7.5/10 running a killer, so I understand why they wanted to kill me right off the bat, just slightly annoying when it happens.
Mostly cuz we all have bad games, I have been pipping down all my previous games cuz crappy teammates or the killer is running sweat build or playing toxic. I don't wanna take it out on the people in the game cuz I don't want them to have a bad game and do the same thing causing a never ending cycle.

I just think its the psychological need to win, this apply's to survivors and killers. If you are confused on what I'm saying well what I am trying to say is that there is something inside us that activates when we keep losing like at uno after a few rounds, or competitive Overwatch, or Dead by Daylight even( It happens when you keep dieing to killer by being tunneled, camped, looped and so on or getting a de pip for killer and you being treated like trash through out the match.) and it grows so big that people will resort into toxicity, its a common thing that happens in games. But by doing this you spread the toxicity. Now I have met some very nice people in the chat within Dbd community. However there are a handful of people that resort to this. Just don't let this get to you and try to your best, its okay to do it sometimes( I mean like once a day on both sides) but not every time. So good luck man I hope your having better matches and I will see you in the fog.

I have been avoiding it entirely since I wanna play killer more and I will understand that on both sides you gotta deal with the same toxicity. So what I try to do (even if I lose) give the killer/survivors a gg and go about my day.
In the end we are just people playing a game. If a survivor/killer wants to rub it in my face that I lost, so be it. Someone actually told me to kms after a game because the Spirit called them a scummy teammate for playing emersed so she killed that Claudette and let me go. I've delt with so much worse, I've grown thick skin. So I reported them and moved on.

normally killer want to get someone out of the game fast and can you blame them? how fast gen go it crazy....

After the killer hooked Claudette, first gen popped, I save Claudette and she runs out after being hit but BT activated, I get trapped in basement so killer goes for me and knocks me. When Bill gets me, killer is right on his tail, avoids Bill and makes bee line for me. I run him long enough for the second gen to pop. Why should I be punished because he wants to proxy camp?
0 -
you shouldn't but it how the game is.people all play different some try harder then others.
we all get bad game get camped I just move on to the next game hope for the best.

Thanks, hopefully I don't gotta deal with another user saying they hope I die lol

In the first post you said you were trapped, but in the second one you said it was a doctor
I smell cap

I'm sorry that happened show you how toxic people can be too.
0 -
they may mean trapped as in no way out with out getting hit.

That's what I meant lol, shoulda been more specific

Thanks for pointing out what I didn't elaborate, preciate it

NP I understand what you trying to say.

The killer could be getting you out of the way earlier. It isn't always personal. Sometimes a Mori could be a good way to even the odds or catch up in a match. Nothing more nothing less. We need to get out of this attitude of equating things we don't like to toxicity.
Don't misunderstand me, I could see how that would suck.

Bad day. Team before was probably way worse than your team.

It depends. You have to understand that the Mori is a "tool" that Killers bring to deal with certain issues. It isn't our preference. We don't earn as much points when we Mori someone. The maximum hooks is three per Survivor. A Survivor taken out early loses us the chase time, the downs, and the hooks. That being said, there are times when it is necessary. In this era of the SWF, I bring a Mori quite frequently. I don't always use it. I can't tell you how many times I've had someone ask me why I didn't Mori when they see my build. I'm like, "I didn't need to do it this game."
But when I'm facing a SWF with perfect coordination, doing a serious Gen-Rush, I'm going to reduce them to 3v1 as quickly as possible just to balance things out. A Green Mori works just as well as a Red for this purpose. Sometimes I see one "superstar" carrying the whole group (and often I find it is some Red super Survivor at the end) and I Mori that person with extreme prejudice because cutting the head off a snake is a thing. I Mori for tactical reasons.
The long and the short of it is that most Killers who are no longer potatoes (I don't have the balls to call myself good yet, mediocre maybe), understand that Camping, Tunneling, and the Mori are specialized tools which get used for specific reasons. No two games are alike, and you have to be ready. A carpenter doesn't go to a job carrying one type of screwdriver, hammer, and saw. The Mori is just another type of screwdriver for a very special situation.

Only that comparison holds no water. There's nothing toxic about using perks or completing your objective, gen rush is more an issue involving RNG than other players. Wanting to win does not make you a scummy human being, this expectation only tends to fall on killers for whatever reason.

This explained it a lot better than I did.

- Tunneling because it's the most efficient way to win, using perks like NOED if need be.
- DS/Unbreakable and Genrushing because it's the most efficient way to win.

Cough cough no one runs calm and always scream cough cough

I'm new into this game. 22 hours and rank 15-16. I'm playing killer main for now and have hours and hours studying tactics, perks, add-ons, etc to be more efficient in the round, cuz I was playing rly bad, ppl making fun of me at the end game chat. It's everything ok with that, it only makes me more interested in be more lethal.
So, yesterday in my last round I finally killed all 4 survivors doing my best. Some of them was rank 5 and 9. I was rly proud achieving that. Then two survivors starts to insult me like I'm doing something rly bad. They shout out loud the words "tunneler" and "douchebag" and now I'm thinking to myself what the f* am I doing wrong. I apologies anyways but THIS made my day better in some way. I finally feels like a killer must feels I guess. Killer kills, survivors survive, right?
This post is so confusing. Maybe I CAN be more nice killer when I have more experience. But for now, I'm sry guys but I will try to kill all of you by any means!
GG!

Yes, those could be quite unfun. I have faced both of these things, but there's a difference between unfun and toxic.
Not toxic: Perks, tactics such as slugging, tunneling, and add ons.
Toxic: Holding game hostage by blocking survivors in basement, calling the killer racial slurs after a match cause he didn't play the way you like, and refusing to exit the game so you could ######### with the killer. Using glitches or exploits.
The gen speeds is more a game issue than anything, killers have crappy movement speed, bad pressure, or RNG just screws with you. This is not on the fault of the survivors who are completing their objective. NOED's designed for end game, there are counters like using a map or using a perk.
This community needs to challenge itself on how it decides how killers play, either update the honor code to be more nuanced or throw it out all together. I've seen people get talked down for even using a killer people don't like. We need to have these discussions without manipulation through shame, it's friggin weird.

I agree completely. I have no problem with any items survivors bring and yes, it sucks when I am destroying a team and the last 2 escape with a key but that's the game and I always give the gg at the end.

I totally relate to your last comment. Had a daily to do with cannibal who is not even close to being my main. So I down first guy and taking him to the hook when he DC on me. Then I get spammed messages about "your trash" "no skill" etc. Some people are just immature and ridiculous in this game lol
1 -
Ok, when was the last time you've seen survivors good at looping try to hide?
Why would you hide when you can loop killer for at least 1 minute knowing that all of your teammates push one gen each?
Just in case you're interested: you usually can loop the doc 3 times around weaker loops as this is how much time he needs to catch up and his shock prevents you from dropping the pallet at the right time, sprint burst from getting injured buys you 20-25 meters during which killer has to catch up after which you continue around another loop, ideally without losing the pallet.
0 -
Yes but why loop and waste time when you can avoid the chase and get in saves because your not screaming and won't give yourself away

What you say to bad sports like these is: "YES! Give me more, let me taste the tasty salt of your tears." People should be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. But you only say that if they give you grief. Never apologize to human garbage like this. Don't try to explain yourself; it is a waste of time. Take pride in you forward momentum. It sounds like you did great. The fact is you will have morons like these accuse you of tunneling, camping, and who knows what else even when you DON'T do those things. They are simply sore losers with a limited number of excuses to use so they parrot them.
1 -
You can't avoid getting found by doctor without wasting huge amounts of time so don't.
0 -
I honestly never do that. I have like 11 Ebony Moris on my main because I never used one. I even let the last Survivor escape occasionally if I think they played well and weren't toxic.
0 -
again calm spirit he cannot shock you out no screaming aka you can stealth a gen and he cannot find you
0 -
Im a kiler main and I dont do that. But I think they want to feel that they achieved something by being like that.
0 -
Im sure there is no need to explain because answer is they can
0 -
I don't use moris like this (if I do at all), but if I were to guess, they either needed someone dead, or they are just toxic. That or they had a scummy game and would like the only easy mode for killers this game really has.
0 -
But would you bring a perk on a slim chance that killer is doc?
0 -
Maybe, happened to me again yesterday with a Legion after looping them on different parts of the map long enough to have two gens popped
0 -
All the time don't matter if it's a doc they could be using IF add-ons that make you scream and I wont
0 -
Well happened again yesterday and I know the Legion wanted me dead, except after I looped em for two gens they were shaking their head 'no' like they were god tier and hitting me on hook. Afterwards they tunneled with a Mori and I just gave them their GG and went to my next game
