As a Switch killer, crossplay made me miserable

Before crossplay came to DBD I loved playing killer. While yes it was harder to control the killer and performance issues were a problem, I really enjoyed killer and would win frequently enough.

Then crossplay came, and as a survivor I really liked it. There isn't that much difference between a PC or console survivor and I did enjoy going against Huntresses and Nurses more often. However, on the killer side the game became much more infuriating.

There are FPS issues on Switch and it's quite easy to miss an attack if a survivor tries to juke, but Switch survivors also share the same performance issues and controls so it's not that bothersome. However when going against PC players with 60 fps and tighter controls those missed attacks are punished more severely. Plus I feel they're able to take loops more tightly than I can which makes downing them even more difficult combined with the FPS and difficulty landing attacks. I went from winning most games to losing most of them and even when I did win I was always so stressed that I never enjoyed the victory. Then you get the teabagging survivors as a little cheery on top.

So today I turned off crossplay and for the first time in a while I enjoyed a match of killer. The survivors were good players but I never felt like I couldn't catch them due to them having better controls or performance. It finished in a 3K with 2 gens but they were close to being done. The queue was instant as well so it's not like crossplay decreased queue times. I enjoy feeling like I had a chance for the first time in a while.

I'll probably turn off crossplay when I play killer from now on, which is a shame because I would like to play against survivors from consoles. However I feel like I can't compete against PC survivors due to my platform holding me back. Of course if they do improve the console experience I might turn it on again.

Sorry for this long and ranty post but I needed to get this out of my system. Are any other Switch killers fairing better than me? Maybe PS4 and Xbox killers are handling it better due to having a higher framerate than Switch.
