How I'd fix "gen rushing"

The reason why gen rushing exists is because the lack of meaningful ways for most killers to exert pressure around the map. They took a step in the right direction when they decrease the pick up times for survivors. When a killer has a survivor on his shoulder is when he's at his weakest, that's when survivors feel the safest. This is why slugging as a Nurse is effective, she can quickly get into another chase after she downs someone. Cutting down the pickup time further (along with the hooking animation) would allow the killer to attempt to exert pressure around the map / get survivors off of generators.

The other phase of the game where survivors feel safe is when they know the killer is in a chase with another survivor. I propose increasing the movement speed of all killers around the board (this will also help tone down pallet looping). To compensate, increase stun duration + the amount of time it takes to break pallets.

The net gain would be faster gen patrolling + shorter chases + pallets being used to break chases as opposed to prolong them + shorter time to find another chase + decreasing the map pressure discrepancy between Nurse+Hillbilly and other killers.

The reason why gen rushing doesnt exists is because its the one objective survivors need to do in order to escape.

Faster killer for shorter chases? You mean you simply want free kills? I know killers are in a bad shape right now but that has nothing to do with the speed of the killer. Its because all of these loops give truesight of the killer. Make small walls big without gaps in them and watch killers end loops faster. Maybe then survivors actually attempts to escape from line of sight rather than run in circles.
