The Problem With Second Chance Perks
BT- survivors who use this perk often abuse and use it to farm their team and dont learn how to do safe unhooks
DH- most players use this perk wrong which is best to be used as a chase extender which if used that way has no counter
DS- can be easily abused by just hopping into a locker forcing the killer to eat the ds or leave you and gives survivors minute of immunity
Unbreakaskill- Just a basic ######### you to the killer cause i have this perk
Adrenaline- My only problem with it is that you can still get it even with exaustion which is pretty dumb
The problem with second chance perks is that it causes survivors to have bad habits and never get good and just use their second chance perk

I don't really believe unbreakable or Dead hard are second chance perks. Borrowed time is more anti camp/tunnel perk and isn't too awful right now. Adrenaline is a bit of a iffy one as it only activates once all gens are done or hatch is closed and gives you exhausted if you didn't already have it. These perks are fine it become an issue when multiple people are running adrenaline in the same match which is frustrating to see everyone go from injured to healed.
The only real second chance perk survivors truly get is DS which i feel should deactivate if you get healed to full or do an action for x amount of time after being unhooked.

It's funny when all the survivors run these perks together. How many 2nd chance that is?

When it comes down to these perks teaching survivors bad habits I can literally tell around half the time if they have Borrowed time just by how they do a hook save.
Its even worse for DS as a lot of people who do it over commit to things like generators since they know they can't be punished for gen rushing past just a slug.
This applies regardless of the role I am playing as.

You don't think a perk that erases mistakes is a second chance perk?
You screw up your pathing? DH makes it to the window./ pallet
You make the wrong read at a loop? DH gets you to the pallet again
It is a second chance perk with uncounterable utility.

Honestly I don't think that there are any second chance perks... they're delay perks
DS: gotta get hooked first -1 hook stage but delays the second stage
Unbreakable: gotta get hit twice and left on the ground -bleed out timer
Dead hard: gotta be injured first -1 health state
BT: seriously.... like really... another survivor has to be using it and unhook in the TR giving the killer a chance to come back and hit/ down both... plus it lasts 15 seconds the killer can just chase to waste that perk (it's just rewarding bad saves)
If you believe these are second chance perks then where's Deliverance... MoM... QaQ... Sabo... DWM

Mettle of man and second wind aren't second chance perks. You don't get them for free.

The problem with second chance perks is how many of them survivors can run at once and the fact that most of them use so frequently that they've learned to deny killers the chance of countering the perk. That's the problem with second chance perks!

DS and lockers? Seriously? JUST DON'T TARGET THEM.
Borrowed Time? Don't target the unlucky one to be unhooked, that is out of their control!
Unbreakable? ONE. USE. ONLY.
Dead Hard? Doesn't work half the time for it's actual use. No different from Lithe or Balanced Landing to me, if they're just gaining distance.
Adrenaline? Granted, yes, the boost while Exhausted is kind of annoying. This is that it's only a temporary boost in the endgame.
They only create "bad habits" because so many killers let them get away with it!

i kinda have to go for the dude just unhooked if their doing a gen right in front of me. The problem with bt is if you unhook in front of me i want to slug you both an get rid of your ds early on if you have. unbreakable denys the killers ability to apply pressure by slugging. you missed my point on dead hard if the player is good at looping they ######### up oh they have deadhard so they make it to a pallet now they are extending the chase.
