DC ragefits. Meet Disco the Elephant.
Good old ONLINE GAMING is plugged out with FRESH, hardcore gamers ready to rage and leave a match if things aren't going their way. I see many people want the penalty back, yet even when it IS working. People STILL take the hook and leave.
I've seen people comment in chat about "Well they are going to kill their character on the hook, so lets unhook them for the points eitherway". - Honestly, avoid doing it, so you don't get reported for FARMING with the killer.
No matter what. We aren't supposed to talk about the elephant in the room here. But we need to! Hes hungry, he needs his peanuts and we still need him. If we don't talk about him. hes just going to stomp around, knock over desks, chairs, computers, and poo all over the place. His name is "DISCOHNECT" (not a spelling error, thats his name). We will call him "DISCO" for short.
DISCO is still important to the eco system. He has to exist in order to balance out nature. He didn't survive the test of time and make it up the evolutionary chain for no reason either. Like all of us. DISCO here, he provides a balance and provides us with someone to fill room and contribute to the population. As much as DISCO gets in the way, hes still a living being that provides cohesion to other parts of the eco system.'
So we have to LEARN what makes DISCO stomp around, knock things over, and annoys us. But at the same time utilizing DISCOs talents without causing too many problems. Afterall HE LIKES HIS PEANUTS!! maybe all of the poo he uses, can be used to fuel the furnace and save us some money. Afterall its cheap fuel, or maybe he can help us knock down some walls in the building to make MORE space. I mean he IS a BIG elephant and renting demolition equipment is EXPENSIVE.
What I am getting at, isn't really hard to figure out. it is how to keep the elephant in the room from destroying things, but co-existing. Maybe we can put disco in ANOTHER ROOM and DISCO can stay with his other elephant friends. He does need to be able to come into the room. Because if you lock him out. HE WILL KNOCK THE WALL DOWN to get at HIS PEANUTS! We know, we already tried. Calling the zoo keeper wont do any good. Because we still need the SPACE filled by him. and we LOVE the money he brings us from GOVERNMENT and CORPORATE conservation funds. I mean this space we have in this room is NOT cheap! Why wouldn't you want DISCO then? Especially the cost of the lights and the budget to keep everyone else paid here is WELL outside the company budget range. BUT with DISCO here. we LOVE those funds.
I know I did figure out a way NOT to have to deal with DISCO!!
- Form a 4-man SWF team.
- Avoid slugging people, so DISCO doesn't stomp around.
- Don't use MORIS
Maybe I want the full experience of the room, but DISCO does not. Disco is going to be mad if someone uses a MORI. MAYBE a creative way such as making MORI a thing on the 3rd down, NO MATTER WHAT.

Okay, so I took a different approach here, a more, subtle. maybe absurd., yet funny way to discuss those pesky old DISCO-NECTORS . BUT we need OUR Q times LOW, our money in the coffers to PAY staff for their TIME here and we still need them to do at least 1 generator and maybe pull someone off the hook. So lets talk about ways to KEEP DISCO happy or at least OUT of the way. Because telling him "no" you cannot enter the room for awhile, is NOT going to solve the raging elephant that will still pay money to us.
