You know what I hate about crossplay? Nurse
As a PS4 DBD player for the last 2 years, I feel like I've gotten quite good at the game, red ranks on the seasons where I've played, rank 1 alot of the time. But one thing you don't encounter much on PS4 is Nurse players, I could go maybe 40 matches without getting matched against a nurse before crossplay. But now that crossplay has been added, I'm getting matched against at least 1 nurse per day, often 3 or 4. How have you PC survivor players put up with her for so long? It often feels like there is no counterplay to her except dead hard, which is one use only. Whereas doubling back between blinks or 360ing typically works against the few console PS4 nurse players I used to go against, it never seems to work against the PC nurses I get matched with because high DPI mouses allow PC nurses to turn so quickly. It's enough to make me want to disable crossplay, but then my matchmaking times will be truly dreadful (they were awful before the crossplay update, still not great now but better than they were).

Lucky you, I love going against nurse and haven’t since the nerf

Lose line of sight and be unpredictable.

How to beat the nurse:
Break line of sight and juke her to hell and back.
It becomes quiet easy and fun after the first game or two to play against her.
PS. I do usually run PC nurses for 3-5 gens in a single chase if they don't break off the chase from me to go after someone else.

I play on PC too and rarely see a Nurse killer.

Nurse is the hardest killer in game without question or contest.
She is also the perfect personification of 'easy to learn, EXTREMELY hard to master'.
Know that if you are killed by a Nurse it was extremely hard to do so and many hundreds if not thousands of hours went in to getting that good with her.

There is counterplay, it's just that you have never needed to learn it because Nurse is extremely difficult to play on anything except PC. You need to break line of sight and focus on mindgames rather than abuse their bad controls. I made a post on a different thread about how to play against PC nurse, but I don't really feel like typing it all again. I'm sure you can find guides online though.

She feels like there is no counterplay because there isn't. You rely on her making mistakes to escape her, if she doesn't make mistakes then you stand no chance, the reason she is okay being this strong is because she is extremely hard to play well. If you find a Nurse who is shutting you down left and right then he has poured hundreds of hours into her to get that good. Another thing factoring into your experience is the fact you never vs-ed a good Nurse before crossplay, so you don't know the best ways to deal with a good Nurse (which I can promise you is not a 360.) Give it time, you will adjust and get better.

I don't want you to think I'm saying this to be rude but if what you said is true they you have not been playing against a good Nurse. A good Nurse will shut you down very quickly, no matter how good you are. You rely on the Nurse making a mistake, not the other way around.

Even against people who are siad to be "good" nurses get juked once then everyone cries they aren't good with her at all.
The concept of the "good" or "unicorn" Nurse as I call it is out right fictional as everyone says "but against a good nurse" but never can actually say any examples that everyone agrees on.
I am sorry but the "Against a good nurse" argument holds no water as no one can agree upon what it even is.

I can help elaborate a bit. Best nurse ive ever played against is on Xbox. Not only great nurse he is good killer too add those together and he mind games like crazy and reads great. I met him on the game! The meat plant, easy right? WRONG. He wrecked our whole team in MINUTES. You go behind a wall predicted you go through the doors predicted. He knew the way we would run and if we got away he wouldnt let it happen again. I wasnt very good at that time and now im pretty good id say and I found him again and same map. He ended chases QUICK, suffered because of gen rush and even then I BARELY escaped through hatch. Barely. No matter how good we were it didnt matter he hooked everyone at least 2 times and 1 gen was left or 2 by the time I got hatch. This is one of her worst maps vs a person with experience and each time they were rusty from not playing her. THAT is what to expect from a good nurse and if it was a different map we probably wouldnt have survived. We worked on gens and ran the best we could and it wasnt enough to crush her. Your experience is against bad nurses. Make a post on the forums and ask for people who HAVE gone against good nurse and ask them if they won or lost and why. I can assure you they won due to a gen rush or bad map and if you don't want to take in accounts of others experience you have no right to say good nurse is a bad argument that isnt real.

You know I am not the OP of this thread right?
Your comment is extremely dismissive and implies there is no skill in playing against the nurse.
Also what I was bringing up about the "Good"/"Unicorn" nurse is the logical fallacy called "No True Scotsmen" which is a logical fallacy of ultimately moving goal posts by changing the definitions of what they are even asking for.
I have legitimately seen people on the forums say that nurses doing what you say WEREN'T GOOD NURSES because they ended up losing to DS/Unbreakable.

I play on PS4 too. The way I see it, Killers like Nurse and Huntress were actually crippled by controller and are just working as intended on PC. Furthermore, KB+M doesn't make that big a difference when it comes to Survivors, so really console Survivors are facing the exact thing PC Survivors are when it comes to Nurse. There's a reason so many people hate her, she's not exactly easy to go up against on PC either and I think that's fine because her skill ceiling is extremely high.
The only thing I can agree on when it comes to this complaint is frame rate, as that is a real disadvantage to consoles. But that's not a Nurse problem.

as someone stated before you of you run a nurse for 3-5 gens she isnt good. That was my point and that is why I commented. I dont care for the OP of the thread or his post. I commented on what you said. It was illogical and I gave you a scenario of what a good nurse looks like which you said things basically saying you can't say a good nurse wouldn't fall for jukes or whatever. But that argument works. A good nurse won't chase you for that long, a good nurse will end a chase in 30 seconds or less. These are all valid arguments because the good nurse is not a unicorn nurse. They are real and the situations are real. Anyways the point is the nurses you played against aren't good as that guy said and there is no reason to argue against the truth of the matter

Dude some of those nurses downes against my team in 30 seconds in each chase or less and got 2 of my team sacrifices and I ran her for ~3.5 gens with ONE teammate working on gens.
They were "Good" but due to the "No True Scotsmen" fallacy which YOUR PROVING people call them bad.

Thats the funny thing about Console players - some were talking A LOT when Nurse got nerfed (which was 100% justified), and did not even encounter a Nurse and those who they encountered were not a threat (of course, with a Controller).
You cant win against a good Nurse. But most Nurse players are not good, while there is nothing that can beat a godlike Nurse, there is also nothing easier than a bad Nurse.
So if you encounter a "normal" Nurse, somewhat decent, okish, you will get used to it. Console Players need to adapt to play against Killers which were not popular on Console like Nurse or Huntress. PC Players have it easier, I would say the only thing they need to adapt are that Console players try to 360 a lot, which isnt much of an issue with Mouse.

See 1 killer has a skill level. 4 survivors increase eahcother skill seemingly. If you are a gen jockey and 3 people take aggro for the most part. And you lead your team to victory because you did gens no matter what are you skilled at survivor? Or were you carried by not being chased? The latter a good survivor can loop and if you have teammates who can loop and do gens you will win. Now your teammates could have been outpositioned or werent good. The fact of the matter is that she wasnt good of you juke a nurse and she doesn't play the way a nurse should play she isnt good. There are guides to become a good nurse and if this nurse did exactly that perfectly like they should or very good you wouldnt have ran her that long. I had a game like you and it was on groaning storehouse a 3 person swf with me as solo. They had flashlights and one found one so they all were hungry for a save and we gen rushed and at 3 gens or 2 left she started slugging and these survivors were getting downed left and right. She chases me and couldnt catch me. Except when I misplayed or was outpositioned. I used jukes and I used maneuvers, but she didnt play to counter or read.me. she was decent but she wasn't good. I was better against a nurse than my teammates, but I also knew that she wasn't a good nurse. And people do agree on a good nurse and everyone agrees a good nurse wont be ran for as long as you said, so regardless of your accusation that its a fallacy based off of your true Scotsman crap remember that you stated an assumption that is actually wrong

I faced a Nurse yesterday who wasn't good (holding w and breaking line of sight was enough, I just went down in the end when I got cocky) but two of my teammates went down to her super quickly, but that doesn't mean that the Nurse was good.
