What is a good nurse?
Ok someone said using an argument that "against a good nurse" is invalid like saying oh well you looped a nurse for 120 seconds? Against a good nurse you would die in 30. Apparently that is invalid because people dont agree on what a good nurse is, therefore the good nurse is also a fake concept, which seems to be what this guy implied. A good nurse hits their blinks more often then not. A good nurse will not try and mind game without knowledge of the survivor previously and will work to have line of sight. A good nurse will rarely swing after blink if it is a bad blink. A good nurse ends chases quickly and knows how to use their blinks. Do you guys agree or do you think a good nurse doesnt fit this bill? Also if I missed anything feel free to add.

Looping a Nurse for 120 seconds is enough to win the game.... I don’t know what rock you live under. You can’t say if a survivor looped a Nurse for 120 seconds suck thats like a 4 gen chase

No thats not what I mean. Re read it carefully. It means oh you looped her for that long? Well she isn't a good nurse then. Thats what im.getting at, it leads into the set of arguments where certain things wouldnt happen against a good nurse

The people who are saying these sentences are not playing against red rank survivors. The Youtubers they made 10 games before winning the ones they show you, because again against high rank no killer wins (1 kill maximum at the end of the game). It's all about mistakes, if they don't make them you will...
They study you, when they know that you start at the quarter turn they bombard you with things that make you lose patience (tbag, etc)...
A Nurse is frustrating at the base, if in addition they frustrate you it is logical that the definition "good nurse" is nonsense !
The only addon able to destroy a team is the Plaid, because there is no mistake, it's pure precision !

Against teams that know how to play, it has no chance between DS, etc..
Loops.. Maybe she can win the loops, but they will finish the generators on the second hunt no matter what.

A good Nurse is a Nurse that knows how to play her. Rarely misses blinks, doesn't play the prediction game, doesn't try to spam all over the place. Calm, methodical, floating death

Yes, you can call that a good nurse, but being a good nurse doesn't implicate the player is a good killer player. The scariest nurses are the one that master nurse and also have a solid game knowledge as a killer overall.
Suppose that you have 3 injured survivors on your line of sight. A good nurse but bad killer player will not waste time thinking about which one of them to chase. A good nurse and good killer will briefly analyse which one probably has Dead Hard, since is a major blink lunge counter, and also check for the ones who are close to a major line of sight breaker or jungle gym, because these have higher chance of proc'íng a Lithe or evading blink lunges with a locker. These are just an small example, but for a good nurse to be able to end chases quickly consistently she'll need to rely on a lot of game knowledge and aweraness that you have to know in order to play any other killer in higher ranks. This being said, I would say a solid rank 1 nurse player is someone who is able to play consistently at killer rank 1 with non-nurse killers while having also mastered nurse.

I think the difference between an ok killer and a good killer is consistency. Nurse isn't an exception as she needs to be very precise with her blinks. So yes if the killer is ran around for an 2 minutes, than either nurse isn't ready for the ranks she's in or the survivor is at a lower rank than they should be.

On Xbox I'd say a good nurse gets two kills, and beyond that is pure gravy...

A “Good” nurse manages the care of patients, monitors vital signs, administers any additional needed medications, schedules needed treatments, communicates with doctors, educates family members on patient status, monitors patients for any signs or symptoms of worsening health, and meets additional patient needs.
A bad nurse slaughters everyone with patience, precision, focus and a smooth, relaxed, systematically established flow. Their mind isn’t wandering. They’re not thinking of anything else. They’re totally involved in what they’re doing. Dopamine levels peak, progressing into euphoria. Outside noise is drown out as the world seems to be cut off entirely, lessening the awareness of one’s self and one’s problems, assuring every time that 5 enter the trial, only 1 remains... floating contently, consistently pleasing to the entity.
