Why exactly are you still here if...
- You think the game is more broken than your average bethesda game
- you keep crying how killers need to be nerfed to the point gameplay against each is identical to the others
- you cry bloody murder whenever there's a slight change to the mechanics/something new is tested out, in general are violently averse against something new
- yet demand the game is so massively change to suit your playstyle.
why the hell have you not moved on to different games if there's nothing you objectively like about dbd?

Points 2-4, I don't care about.
As far as Point 1: I don't play Bethesda games. I play Blizzard games. And due to the bug after bug, issue after issue, of DbD, I play Overwatch a lot more. 🤣

I just hang out at the forums because I like some of the posters here. As far as playing DbD, it's very much a side thing-- something I play when the team isn't on Overwatch on a given night and I don't feel like reading or watching a movie-- it's not something I play regularly by any stretch. It's just a slasher horror Icon fantasy play when I feel like running around in a game as Myers, Freddy, Leatherface, Pig, or Ghostface.

I reason I'm still here is because the game is still fun under all issues. Just because I criticize a game doesn't mean I don't enjoy it, I just don't enjoy certain aspects of it.

If you mean the people that complain without an actual constructive argument, yeah I wonder that too.
Put those people in the same category as the people who have a collection of 'goodbye' threads but come right back 2 weeks later. I see them as attention seekers. Nothing more.
I think giving negative criticism is important. It helps the game and developers understand where they might need to adjust/change things. The key is to do it in a way where you are not looking to "win" an argument, but rather that you are trying to offer a solution along with stating your issue with the game.

No, that's my job. And you never see killer mains complaining that they lost because the survivors played the game how they were supposed to, or that (insert character/item/perk/add on) should be cast into the fiery pits of hell.
and every point except #2 applies to both sides.

Survivors spam "Delete NOED" like Raid Shadow Legends spams unpaid sponsorships.
Allow me to explain why I'm fine with all of these perks:
Unbreakable can be countered by picking the survivor up. In some situations it's really good (soul guard) but eating the DS is better than letting the survivor have an extra hit they can take.
Decisive strike is annoying, but in most situations is just an inconvenience. I think its fine in it's current state. It's really good, but if a survivor gets the DS off on me and escapes, I don't care because it wasn't about how I preformed. It wasn't my fault, especially if they had UB or something.
Burrowed time sure is annoying, but seeing as it's good for the health of the game,(Counters both camping and tunneling to an extent) I couldn't care less.
Adrenaline is fair. Sometimes it gets use, but just like NOED, the survivor can go matches without getting use out of it and thus having only 3 perks the whole time. This compensates for its powerful effect, which is luck based, really. You need to have good timing. If you do, gg. However, i've seen more "Buff Adren" threads than "Nerf Adren" threads.
Dead Hard is pretty counterable and yes, it can potentially doom a Hag or Trapper, but if they lead them to a trap during a chase, its still Dead Hard gone, so that's ok. Dead Hard can be annoying, but I really don't care if a survivor pulls it off on me.
And most of those threads don't even call for the removal of the fooking thing.

This is a pretty bold and amusing topic coming from a guy that was arguing with me by stating that slugging is bannable - Showed him a dev quote to the contrary and he never came back to the topic.
Pretty sure you're always going to be welcome here, but I'd suggest saving your keystrokes and ignoring divisive topics like these.

Why are you still playing the game if you don't see anything right with it.
Criticizing its faults is one thing, but looking at the forum, and quite literally every comment section on the devs' twitter etc the feeling I get is that this community is absolutely averse against everything put out, that they think the devs can't do right at all, and so forth.
So, I genuinely DO wonder why some people are still here if they see nothing good in the game and are certain it can't/won't be fixed ever.

You ever spoken to an avid WoW player? They absolutely hate themselves for putting so much time into the trash heap that is the current WoW experience yet they still play and still believe they care about the game because they're addicted and can't stop. Same goes for this game. DbD is fundamentally...bad, but it's gameplay loop is oddly addicting and this genre of game has never been done so successfully before. Some people find it really hard to put something down after picking it up, no matter how much they despise it.

I've been in the wow community (up till the cataclysm beta, though, but still)
I'm just the kind of person who tries to make sense of things. Another thing that baffles me is how the people who demand the devs get a certain license into the game are the same crying bloody murder when there's a lot of payed content then...

Do you notice the fact that most of the time it's either DS topics or Spirit topics for a reason?
Both sides are throwing crap at each other and that's how it is, the OP only talks about survivors whining but for the most part the most used threads are regarding DS being "broken" and etc etc.
Why exactly are you making this thread if not to spread out your bias? People here paid for this game and hope for it to get better, not worse.
Just because the forums are filled with this crappy attitude it does not represent literally every player in the game, there's far more.

Yeah those people crying about licenses just melt my brain too lmao. It is true that some people are never happy with what BHVR does. Some demand BHVR to ease off on DLC and midchapter updates to work on bug fixes and improvements, yet they're crying when they found out the Blight isn't coming with a new map and they're instead working on graphical updates and other big improvements alongside this chapter like 60hz servers and a potentially functioning MMR system, like hello???
