Idk about best, but I think my favorite is Danny's (DBD Ghostface) he sounds like a really interesting character and I would love to know more about the silly little psychopath 😄

Hag’s lore is absolutely horrific.
Rin’s is SUPER tragic and saddening.
Myers probably has the deepest lore if you delve further into the storyline, especially Halloween 6.
I think the story behind Nurse is the most creepy to me, idk why.

I like Plague, Deathslinger and Huntress. One is about the semi-arrogant decent into madness and decay, the next an intelligent psychopath with a cruel, creative streak, and the last a little girl that had higher thought stripped from her by circumstance.

Deathslingers is pretty good, but I think the Legions and Rins are very tragic. The most important lore for the story of DBD though has to be Grimes lore (aka Blight).

Legion is just a bunch of edgy teens that ganged up on one poor soul and BAM! Now they're officially entity material. Totally lame.

I would say Clowns for there is still not left known about him and who he was. I would like to see more of that in the Tome V that is coming out. Also Deathslingers I literally his lore to be a movie its so good.

Clown has the best lore. Born in the 1930s, and starts with animals, then moves to kidnapping and killing humans. Then spends decades hopping between travelling circuses and carnivals. Since the Clown is clearly aging, there's plenty of room for 50s nostalgia, or other retro stuff like 70s/80s.

It is the tragic tale of the fall of 3 innocent students to a master manipulator from out of town. I thought it was a compelling story.
