Sound issues? (Please move to technical issues)

I want to say after the last patch, something was weird with my sound. Sound was no longer directional. As in, gens sounded as if they were coming from every direction, not left or right. I use headphones when I play. Switching my sound settings to 5.1 sound fixed the directional issue, but now, the sounds of hitting gens and opening lockers get almost muted when they play.

It could just be me but I have played the game without any sound problems until lately, my sound settings were on regular stereo mode without issue. Anyone else notice anything similar?
