Franklin's Demise works with special attacks now?

My item was dropped when a Cannibal used his chainsaw attack to down me. I was not injured and the item was dropped where I went down.

Last I checked it was only basic attacks that triggered it, but I notice the "basic" attack text seems to have been removed from the perk description. Surprisingly, the 4.10 patch notes don't mention that the basic attack limit was removed as well.

So does this work with all attacks now? I can Frenzy Franklin everyone with Legion? Hatchets? Etc?
