If killer specific MMR has been removed from the game, why can't we change killers in queue anymore?

Just as the title states, unless killer specific MMR hasn't been removed I don't really see a reason why we can't change killer in queue or in lobby.

it's still running in the background and just it's not physically active, so it's still recording your progress as that killer, or your skill as a survivor.

It wasn't revmoved, just temporarily disabled, the MMR will come back. Looks like they are taking a long time to activate it back though, so I'm hoping it will more accurate than the last version.
